can i vote all 3D tv deals cold?
the quicker they go out of fasion the better

Why is that so you don't have to buy one? If your not interested you could just not buy one and not worry so much about what everyone else does.
#3
do Currys offer interest free credit in store?
#4
just keeps getting cheaper and cheaper.
#5
What is the guarantee on this 3D TV from Currys?

Also, is this an in-store and online deal or only in-store or only online?
#6
prices on these appear to be dropping by the day. This is the best price so far so heat added, but probably still worth hanging on or by the time it is installed and set up it will be cheaper still.

No but they normally offer buy now pay next year, but be very careful to pay up before the year is up otherwise you will be stuck paying it off over 4 years paying silly interest!

I hear rumours the reason for the low prices of these is that Q2 2011 will start to see no-glasses 3d potentially emerge... don't know how accurate that is but personally I'm (just!) holding on from buying this.

Undoubtably hot though.

Gutted!
I am what one would call an Early Technology Adopter (ETA), but I now feel like a Don't Indulge in Costly Krap early (DICK! and I know Crap doesn't begin with a K but I couldn't think of anything else). Don't get me wrong the TV is absolutely amazing for 2D and 3D but I went and paid the best part of £1350 for the TV alone (Then three pairs of glasses at £70 each) and thought I had a good deal only four months ago!!
I'd like to say I have learn't my lesson but probably haven't.
This is a no brainer if you are thinking about 3D (Which is amazing).
Hot from me, I might even buy one for the bedroom (Kidding)!

iv seen a tv in 3d and it was amazing

totally not a gimmick

I can get 3D from Sky as a HD world customer(Valued!!) but I am about 8 months into my contract. If I re_ sign for SKY 3D(free?) does this mean that I effectively extend my contract by another 12 months from the re sign date?. Thanks

Let's not lose sight of the fact that £900+ is a lot of money.

Edited By: matedodgy on Oct 08, 2010 21:29: As nice non 3d TVs for £600.

It is while you have to wear glasses.

Autostereoscopic monitors are available now and if you have nearly 6k burning a whole in your pocket you could google search for it and click the shop tab, dont expect them to be cheap for another 4 odd years... 4 years ago 42" HD tvs were all the range... does anyone remember that?

Apparently there is a Panny autostereoscopic 3dtv in Harrods, unlike the current 3dtvs they reqiure 'sweet spots' where you need to be positioned and current versions only have around 4, move the left or right slightly and it looks pants.

PS - I love me 3DTV, i run my 'video clips' from my PC to my Xbox

I'm more amazed by the wifi side tbh, never heard of that before. But I think we're getting closer to the TV of my dreams, LCD, WIFI, PC, Bluetooth, Touchscreen, 3D, Motion sensor and will someone invent a god damn remote that has a built in speaker so I can find it when I lose it!

I bought the dixons deal last night.......any chance of a refund?

Also, can this be purchased using quidco?

brimming over with wrongability. LCD is older than plasma technology.
this is so much better than a nasty overbright bleached colour, leaky backlight LCD

also the discount code works for web only purchases. will NOT be honoured in store.

no interest free available, but BNP6 months later is on this weekend til monday

These 3D TV's soon will be out of fashion, remember when we had video calling came up first !!! what happened to it now and does it even exit? so I would not wast my money on this blind maker!!

off topic

#32
Can you order online using the code then collect instore or does it have to be delivery?

You want it delivered. Plasmas are very fragile, why risk transporting it yourself?
#34
does this have freeview hd ?, if so then it's hot and i'll buy it myself

No, if you are a hd customer already then you have the box for 3d already, so no need to take out a new 12 month contract. Just call them when you have the tv and they will switch your 3d channel on and you do not pay any extra per month for the 3d viewing afaik.

If it has gone too far through the order process to cancel online at the minute you can refuse delivery under distance selling regulations and they will refund you
