This tv is £1299 in comet (£1150 online)

Do you need the "Passport" for this (do they still do this)?

I've let my membership lapse so I don't get the updates...may have to rejoin!

"SORRY
Due to high demand the following item(s) are currently unavailable.
Samsung SP50L6HX 50" DLP Projection TV
Please use the back button to go to the previous page."

Some people are so greedy. I wonder where the high demand came from....

Contacted currys and they said they never honoured this price it was a mistake it should have been £1047!!!

Typical they should honour it.

Nice one! was planning on taking a trip over to Costco on that particular weekend to see what teevee's they had on offer.
Couldn't of come at a better time.

Depends what you do for a living, most people can join

if you are self employed you can have a trade card or others can have an individual membership which costs £20+vat per year

Think you will find that 75% of you can use costco they offer individual membership to people in employment (or family members can have a card for £12+vat)

If you have been informed otherwise this is incorrect:thumbsup:

I was referring to the locations as well. I dont think there is one south of London so rules out most of the south east.

just to let you know this deal is running now, I poppped into the local costco in MK an the tellys 830 + VAT - making it 975.23 - not sure if thats the same price all over... but its a shame as its a good telly... its about 900ish online at other retailers, but you get the 3 year warrantly with it from costco....

855 after the deal - but then add on delivery costs as well as costco don't really do delivery...

Well picked mine up from Reading this afternoon for £855, plus I bought a wall bracket which was also on special for £50 (£20 off) - So £905 all in for both.

They are selling pretty quick though but the woman at the tills assured me if they sold out before the offer ends -this weekend, you can validate your passport voucher (available from behind customer service counter) and they'd honor the price for when back in stock.

Just going through this huge thread on AV forums regarding this model.
