good spec! hot!

After the cheap Dell this deal is just ok. If you can sell the Thierry Mugler Designer (who?) Laptop Case for £30 or £40 then its a good deal.

EDIT: the latop case can be bought for £13 on ebay (new).

processor seems a bit naf

this will be brilliant for my dad.. i was previously looking at a 465 toshiba model 6gb ram, 500gb hd, same processor etc.. (365 after cashback deal) but this is a further 85 quid cheaper. :-)

A Celeron processor and the fact is doesn't seem to have an HDMI socket would put me off, but may be a good deal for some. Decent brand and healthy 4GB RAM.

Worth the money.....Good to have the 4gb ram & good that it's windows 7 64 bit, but the processor is lame.

from the picture it looks like it has HDMI

Agree that one of the photos looks like an HDMI port but no mention of HDMI in the Zavvi blurb and also no mention on the Samsung uk website -i'd assume no HDMI unless reliably reported different.
Pluses:
Top notch brand and all that implies, large HDD, 4GB ram.
Minuses
No HDMI port (required to play HD files on your large screen tv.) and bottom of the range dual core cpu.

Unless your computing needs are very basic indeed, i'd avoid. If you can, id recommend stretching to one of the 1st gen core i3 cpu laptops about at the mo for circa £329 or even less. Much more powerful and HD video friendly. Even cheaper if you are willing to accept a refurb from the dell outlet or alternatively, the argos or currys ebay outlets. Not voted either way on this one.
