Good price. Previous lowest was 89 unless i'm mistaken. I would rather get the cheaper 120GB option and save a bit of money, as you can just store movies ect on a hard drive.

Hot price for 250GB fast drive.
The 120GB version jumped to around £70 so £84.99 for 250GB is fantastic price (34p for 1GB)

Were you surfing on a hover board whilst trying to dodge a chap called griff too?

Gotta love them Deloreans :p

The 120gb is a lot slower and then 250gb.

Aren't they exactly the same products but different sizes?

Just bought after a different post (90.99) sent me to this! Just checking out my son's laptop and saw the boot time...... enough is enough!
#11
Definitely worth a pop for those who have yet to switch over. It just makes using a computer so much less frustrating.
#12
A must buy if you can and when Win7 boots in 8 seconds you can count every penny well spent.

No, speed is different (slower for smaller sizes) for all SSDs (all brands/models).

Nope, because internally it's one controller and up to 8 memory chips working together to get full speed. One chip isn't enough to max out the connection to the computer, and some of the smaller drives use only 1-4 to save money so don't get top speed.

Bigger the drive the faster they are, due to something called parallelism. the 250 tends to work out quite a bit cheaper per gb as well. You might wnat to compare it against the crucial mx100, which offers great value for money and nearly the same speeds.

Well recommended, I've got the 1tb version in my gaming rig and it opens current games quicker than my work pc opens programs

I purchased the Kingston v300 SSD yesterday for about 77 quid from Amazon- its been dispatched but would it be worth sending it back and getting this? Is there much difference in performance/ reliability between the two?
#19
Anyone getting better than 6% or do flubit just hate me :(
#20
I have one of these in my laptop at the moment and it's fantastic. I recommend the Samsung Magician software too - it's recently been updated and RAPID mode is even faster on my machine now.

I paid a hundred quid for mine. At this price it's a steal!
#21
Excellent deal at this price. Used flubit to get this a couple of weeks ago. But can anyone enlighten me on how on earth Flubit can make such outrageous offers? My drive was shipped from Amazon with an Amazon gift receipt!!!

Thanks. Ordered the Samsung instead. Will send the Kingston back when it gets here. Don't want my first build to have any problems due to crappy components.
#24
I have had the 120gb for as week, its very fast 500+mb read and write.
Buy this you won't regret it.
#25
Been waiting for this. Waited as I heard the samsung magician software is top notch. Ordered! Thanks for the post!

On a product as commoditised as SSDs, 12% ain't gonna happen. I could be proven wrong but doubt it. Take the deal.
#27
also waiting for flubit feedback hopefully above 6%
#28
my last flubit for this at £89.99 got me 11% off.
#29

You pretty much won't see any difference in gaming.. All it helps is loading times
