Really? I've never seen them at this spec for that sort of cash. Can you point one of these deals out?

That's not a SE-S084D/TSBS - It's a SE-S084 that I have and that doesn't work if I connect it to my Samsung Series 6 TV (just tried it...)

Fair comment.

Can you list what TV's this supports then buddy to make it clear to buyers, just in case it doesn't work with all LCD / Plasma TVs.

Does it work with MKV and HD content for video without buffer issues or is it just for Music and pictures as some TV's with USB only support Pictures and Music and not video at all.

Can you just clarify that please.

Also can you clarify if it requires 1 or 2 usb ports to power it, as obviously some of the other Samsung slim externals require 2 ports and some TV's only actually have 1 port, can you let us know pls?

It won't play a video DVD through USB.
It will play a file supported by the tv, if the optical media is formatted so that your tv can mount it, that's all, same as any other usb storage.

Ukez. Is that July thread (with 47 pages of complaints) the best you can come up with for these drives that keep coming up every now and again for £15 to £20?
