What’s brilliant about this model is the fact that you get all the benefits of a water feature, without the need to faff about plumbing it in. Just top it up as and when it needs it and your family will have cooled water on tap.

It comes with loads of extra little features too, like a vacation mode that’ll shut the fridge down while you’re on holiday to save you money.

Been looking at this FF this morning.

Torn between this one or this:

http://markselectrical.co.uk/RSA1SHPN_Samsung-American-Refrigeration.html

Which can be purchased for £693.

Don't need a water feature.

Any help from people who have these models much appreciated.

Heat added - this looks similar to the £599 American Fridge Freezer that was advertised at Currys - which has just disappeared from their website - so I presume they have sold out - the specs on this (compared to the one at Currys) look better in terms of capacity - and I think the one at Currys was probably an end of line Sale.
A couple of things I have noticed:
- AO charge you £10 to get rid of your old one - whereas Currys do not
- I noticed on the Currys website that Samsung are offering a 5 year guarantee to products purchased before the 14th Jan - so I am not sure that applies to this Fridge/Freezer - I am going to ask them.
Finally dont forget 2% Quidco.
Will let you know what I find out

Checked on the Samsung website - and this Fridge/Freezer is not part of the 5 year guarantee :(

Looking at the one at Marks Electrical - this one is on the list for a 5 year guarantee - tempting!

Ummm, to pay the extra £94 for the extra warranty or not? I think it might be worth it.

Just had a look at:

http://www.samsung.com/uk/homeappliancewarranty/

Doesn't state that the RSA1SHPN comes with the extended warranty. Correct me if I'm wrong!

Just looking at the Samsung website and it names retailers that are excluded - MarksElectrical are not on the list as being excluded - but they are fairly small - so I am going to contact Samsung to see if I purchase from them it qualifies - its worth the effort as I own an old American Fridge Freezer and they are not as reliable as a standard one. Will let you know what I find out :)

John Lewis price match = 5 year no hassle warranty. Would imagine Curry's extended warranties are much the same PC World's - a complete and utter pain in the ass.

Can no longer find it on the Currys website - so I assume it has been sold out.
