there's another 8kg addwash one at tesco direct for £479 but they have 20% off voucher bringing it down to under £400, however this has all the smart features if you want that. hot From me

They've just recalled 2.5million of these in america.

Got a "normal" 8kg 1600 spin for slightly less than this & it is superb I don't know about the bubble thing they go on about but you can get away with half as much detergent. Some of the programmes seem ridiculously long but if you have a smaller load in it it'll recalculate after you press go.

I'm not really convinced about the true usefulness of an app etc aside from the cool factor.

The washing machine messages you when it finished?! What a time to be alive.
Good deal if you're wanting all the extras. Also comes with a 10 year motor warranty.

1. Top loaders
2. US not UK
3. Try using brain before jumping on tired Samsung stuff explodes meme when the item you point to has nothing to do with this item

I got the 9kg on last week on offer at John Lewis and it washes things, spins things, has pretty lights....but most importantly it plays a tune when I turn it on and a different one when the wash finishes!
On a serious note, "Which" reports come up really well and there's loads of features, quick wash, bubble soak (for extra stained stuff), the add wash is great if you usually have hand wash things, you can open up and put them in before the last rinse, bigger door than usual so I can get a king size duvet in. I love it. (P.s I have a mild OCD cleaning issue (although my family don't believe it's "mild") and therefore did LOADS of research on my perfect washing machine.

You should take your own advice. Post #2 by hooray henry(hh) is the one who first has a go at Samsung by mentioning a recall that has nothing to do with this product. ukcooldude2003 made none of the claims you so viciously ascribe to him. He posted a link in response to hh which enabled people to realise that hh got it wrong.
Try taking a chill pill before jumping a helpful poster.

watch out for the door hitting you on the face. great excuse not to put the washing on though.

Am I the only one who would just put that missed sock in the next load?

Hi
Just found out that my stop cocktail had been turned down slightly and the water pressure was not the same as when we installed our Samsung washing machine. My wife said that the daily wash program was now taking 1 hour and 33 min. I increased the water pressure and it is now back to 1 hour and 3 min. It might be worth a check.
