Looks like a decent deal to me, especially if you take into account the price of the films

Who's the retailer as I'm a bit unsure whether this is legit?

Bluray player is sposed to be unreliable but you could trade it in at CEX if need be and just keep the discs?
#4
does look a good deal so voted hot-would also like some confirmation from someone as to the reliabilty of the retailer.

they do claim to be part of the disney corporation-anyone confirm?
#5
This is very tempting!

Cheers for confirmation Torby

If it helps confirm the legitimacy, the offer was part of a promotions e-mail I received direct from Disney themselves (presumably for a previous site registration I had made); and the company registration details people have since found do seem to tally up to me, anyway :)
#11
If I didn't already have a Blu-Ray player I'd buy one.
#12

the player is £85 del so are the blurays worth it?

Depends on if you're going to watch them or not I guess.

Unreliable? I've only seen pretty amazing reviews for this model. This is only a good deal if you want all the films I'd say. On paper however it is a hot deal so voted as such!
#14
voted hot but player is available for 84.95 del - can anyone work out how much the discs are worth?

toy story just released today and is about 15 quid cheapest-the rest can be had for a tenner each if you shop around so I would value the blu rays at 100-105 quid-HOWEVER-the kicker is that it clearly says on the site that they reserve the right to replace or change any or all of the discs in the offer. You could potentially end up with different discs, altho I would assume they would all be disney ones.
#17
i'm tempted to get it as I need extra player for bedroom

The clarity allows the discerning viewer to be able to pick out such detail as individual hairs... High definition really cums into its own!
#23
might get this for bedroom, has anyone ordered one??
#24
That's a brilliant offer, I mean, the Blu Ray player in question is a later model of mine and my one is fantastic (BD-P1500) and this one is meant to be a big improvement on it. Lets say the Blu Ray discs are, at least, £10 each, that's £100 worth of movies! If I had the cash, I would get that right now.

Heat added.

I have had this player since just before christmas and have had no problems with reliability, the picture and sound quality are top notch.

I bought the £130 for the player and Xmen Wolverine, Terminator Salvation, The Fast and the furious which is pretty damn good as i was after the terminator film anyway and it was £17 alone.
This was the Blockbuster deal by the way.
One of the things that attracted me to this player was the front port usb which is ideal if you download videos and put them to a usb stick, the player sees the stick as a folder adn you can select the file to play using the remote..

So far i would give the player 5 out of 5.

Hope this is of help

Here you go, just gone through and does this:

Seperately:
Toy Story - £16
Pirates of the Caribbean 1 - £10
Pirates of the Caribbean 2 - £10 (or £25 for the trilogy)
Cars - £10
Wall E - £11
Enchanted - £15
Snow White - £17
Narnia - £10
National Treasure - £10
Tinkerbell - £11.50

Total £120.50, so you save £50 on the films.

can u also tell us the value CEX would give for all of these...
#35
i know im lazy
#36
Ordered this.

Now I've tried to e-mail them, to track it, though the e-mail on their contact page does not work...
#37
Great deal if you've got mixed kids - my boys would love Cars (played to death on DVD), Toy Story and Wall E. They'd grow into Pirates and maybe National Treasure. But the 3 Princess-ey ones would be a complete waste of money! Got a friend this would be great for though.

I suppose you could take them to Blockbuster, and trade them, or better yet, Ebay.

Not sure what you'd get though.
