Hello folks, it's another blu-ray deal, but I think this one is worth it!

Play are offering a blu-ray starter bundle consisting of a Samsung BD-P1600 Blu-ray Player and 7 films for under £200.00

The films included in the deal are -
Close Encounters Of The Third Kind: 30th Anniversary Ultimate Edition (2 Discs)
Ghost Rider: Extended Cut
James Bond: Casino Royale - Deluxe Edition (2 Discs)
Rambo (2008)
Spider-Man 3
Terminator 3: Rise Of The Machines

You should follow the link and add all the items to your basket, and the price will get automatically updated.

If you buy the items individually on, they would cost just under £240.00.

The player alone normally costs £149.99, so you are effectively getting the 7 films for £50, but you can squeeze and extra £10.00 off the total using the 5% RAC discount code or Varsity card.

And finally, because you are buying a blu-ray player included in the free film promotion advertised elsewhere, you will receive a voucher for £15.00 approx two weeks after the player has been delivered, so that you can buy a further film from

Richer Sounds are selling the player for £135. So this is only a good deal if you think that seven films are worth more than £65.

This is a goode enough price if you're happy enough to take an ex-display model -

"Last Few To Clear, So Hurry!

Stocks limited/not available in all stores. Some may be ex-display at this price."

You will also get a £15.00 voucher from play to put towards further blu-ray film purchases
Sorry cold from me. The Samsung BD player can be picked up for £140 at a few places.

All films apart from Ghostbusters can be picked up for well under £10.

If they had a much better selection of films and you could choose 7, it would be a stonking deal.
I also tried applying 5% RAC code and it only took a further £2 off and not £10 because it's not applicable to the BD player. Not sure if the same applies with the Varsity card.
the 8th film deal has now finished....
