The Samsung SPP-2020 uses Dye Diffusion Thermal Transfer technology that produces 4" x 6" prints in 60 seconds that are resistant to water and fading. This means that your favourite photographs can be protected from smudging and fingerprints.

You can choose to print from your PC via the USB 2.0 or from your camera phone or digital camera via the USB 1.1 PictBridge TM. The printer has wireless capabilities and optional Bluetooth connectivity.

The SPP-2020 has the ability to balance colour levels so that photo-quality prints can be produced even if one cartridge has low ink levels. Each printer comes with a starter kit of 10 sheets of Samsung photo paper.

Always worries me that getting paper/media for these things will become a problem very quickly.

I use something similar and cut my own photo paper down to size. I use Kodak!

I agree about the ribbons, but the best thing is to buy several in at a time. If you are like me you'll probably have a new photo printer next year any way!

The polaroid is an ink jet printer, whereas the Samsung uses Dye Diffusion Thermal Transfer and then protects the image with a further clear layer.

The finished pictures are much more durable then those supplied by BonuePrint etc, and are almost untearable.

The Samsung was available from the Link at £14.97 delivered - http://www.hotukdeals.com/deal/18164/samsung-sp2020-imprimante-photo-por and still occasionally appears back in stock - worthwhile checking.

I use the Samsung regularly and am always impressed by the results.

I also have one and i guess yours is faulty as the results are lab quality, amazes me every time.

We are due more stock on the 120 refill packs and the price on those is £21.99
