Whats wrong in this??? why can't he sell on ebay ???? when there are lots of fool there to buy from ebay..???
#29
namuma, nothing just that the last time a bargain was on here, the Acer computer (I think) he got slated for selling it when everyone else was having no luck in getting one. Probably same again here as stocks run out before those who want a bargain can get to one. Plus many would argue that it is against the spirit of the site.

Plus I wouldn;t call all buyers on ebay fools like you would.

Sorry I take that line back of saying eBay buyers full.
But I do admire spirit of the hotukdeal site but its personal preference i guess.

simply out of curiosity. is that you smij29 or ebay??
#33
Those who have reserved one, don't hold your breath at it actually being in stock.
#34
namuma , nope smij29 isn't me but good find. It was the emachine, not Acer, that was £99 from ebuyer. Can see that he made much on it after fees etc.

You did good find too.. well that eBuyer one was for 99 and looks like it went for 130 or 140 or so.. so ya he made good amount on that.. i guess i should try that too.. get stuff from hotukdeals and put it on ebay and gumtree for sale.. nice idea for some extra part time cash.... what do you say?

He wouldn't have made much, less than £10 I reckon going by the various ebay calculators online.

Final Value £ 130.00
Item Cost £ 100.00
True S&H Cost £ 12.00 (guess based on weight and value)
Total Expenses £ 131.26
Total Selling Price £ 140.00
Profit/Loss £ 8.74

Saying that the original cost of £100 may have been more if there was a delivery charge to receive the order from ebuyer.

So risk over profit isn't worth it, he would have been gutted if the item either turned up at the buyer's address dead or not at all, then they would have been out of pocket.

Hmmm ya but still £8.74 is a fair amount of profit for someone who is doing this daily.. isn't it?
Good calculation though..

Too little profit on something of high value, should have listed it properly and at a decent starting price. By the looks of things he is not much of a regular seller. bits n bobs. Few BlackBerry Bolds, 1 a week or so, but again too little profit for too much come back.

Even these cases aren't worth hassle, even if you put a fair price on them.
