Just answered my own question lol... however figures the info might be helpful to others... from a user review: "On the subject of toner costs for the Samsung. It only ships with 1000 page Black and 500 page colour cartridges against the replacement 1500 and 750 ones "
Toner price?

from my searching just now they seem to be around £35 a pop.. 3 colours and black) so a good £140 for full replacement... I guess they wont run out all at the same time though but hmmm... I'm quite tempted to order at the price of the printer but in the long run is it still worth it.. tempted so temped..
We got one of these because of its occasional use - the ink doesn't dry up in side the machine.

Once its set up it lasts forever.

Whats it like, good quality prints ?
wait one sec.... I just realised their are two versions of this printer the CLP-325 and the CLP-325W (wireless) - This one is the cheaper wired version and on reflection this price isn't that great..
We do a few good colour prints off it but only ever scanned photographs (OK), not used for photos off the camera yet.
For example Amazon do the:

SAMSUNG CLP-325 At £99.05

SAMSUNG CLP-325W At £148.00****&linkCode=asn&creative=22206&creativeASIN=B003LVGLXA

So at £86.99 it is still a good price but but searching/researching dont get this model confused with the Wireless (W) version as I did at first. - overall good price but not scorching hot as I originally thought..
It's not a bad price this printer I have it's big brother (CLP510) but as with all laser printer it the high cost of the toners but still far cheaper than the ink-jet, so great for doing leaflets and printing from the web but not as good for the high gloss of photographic paper.
This is a useful link to work out the cost of printing both from ink-jet and lasers

I hope you find this useful
Just a quick question, according to the official website, it says the effective resolution is up to 2400x600dpi, is it based on software optimization or the original printer capability?
No cheap toners available for this - so the cost per page printed is very high.

A set of replacement toners is around £140 and you will only get around 1000 pages out of them.
don't think anyone will find a colour laser printer cheaper than this new
Toners will last a long time on these printers but will be very expensive when they eventually run out.
Is this website legit? Looks pretty crappy.
