Samsung CLP-365W Wireless Colour Laser Printer - £99.99 @ Argos
The Samsung CLP-365W Colour Laser Printer lets you print wirelessly from smartphones, tablets and other devices in just three simple steps.
Dixons had this at £149.99 but Argos were advertising at £129.99 so ordered it for delivery in-store at Argos. NOW £99.99 so excellent price for replacement for my trusty CLP-300N (note - same price for CLP-365).
Also at John Lewis and Amazon at this price. Cheaper than the non-wireless at these stores.
Only issue was non UK mains lead but I have the kettle plug on my current printer.

Jump to unread Post a CommentAmazon lists it as having 700 page Black, and 500 page colour starter toners (compared with 1500 page black and 1000 page Colour full toners), so basically half full.
Toner carts seem to be quite expensive...cheapest I could find (for full toner carts) was about £160 for a set, unless anyone knows anywhere cheaper?
Tempted to go for this though, as even if I printed about 50-60 pages/month, there's a good 9+ months worth of toner included, so not too bad...
Thanks OP

See if you can come accross a CLP300 or CLX2160 in good condition as I pay only £4.99 per cartridge for mine. They are not wireless of network ready but most use NAS drives and all the ones I've seen have a built-in print server so not an issue.
5 minutes to unwrap, 5 minutes to connect to network (Win 7) and 5 minutes to connect to the Android tablet
It is (probably) because laser printers use a very fine powder (the toner) rather than liquid ink that the inkjets use, so nothing to clog.
I think you'll be fine, and for the number of pages that are quoted, if you only print about 30 pages/month (on average) you'll probably be looking at almost 18 months before you'll need to buy new toners.

Yes
Laser cartriges do not dry like inkjet. Buy Dell 1250c (£49-£59) much better print quality compared to average inkjet printer . No wireless but very economical. Cartridges are £35 for all four from ebay.
5 minutes to unwrap, 5 minutes to connect to network (Win 7) and 5 minutes to connect to the Android tablet
And took a couple of minutes for my son to download and use the Samsung Mobile App for his iPhone
Yes
Can't see the reason why there'd be a problem...As I have said above, I have never had an issue prinitng with my colour laser printer having not used it for over a month on a lot of occasions.
Just fires up (warming up, as it says in the LCD screen), takes about 20 seconds, and then the print takes about another 5 seconds.
Never a problem

Last full set of four cartridges which I got for my CLP-300N off eBay cost £15.95 including postage from a retailer in Hull and they were much, much better than any refilled ones I have had in the past. I am trusting that the CLP-365w toners will drop in price before I need to replace. Same seller has similar CLP-325 full set at £69.99 so expect much the same when this new printer's toner becomes available from them - you could buy the printer and a full set for the same price as Samsung original toners!

To counter the YES that was given to your question, I say NO!
I got a black and white samsung wireless laser because every inkjet I've owned dries up due to my lack of printing on a regular basis. I must have wasted far more ink due to cleaning than ever actually due to printing!
My laser has no issues sitting out of use for months on end and occasionally printing the odd page here and there.

No - it's the way to go.
Sorry mis-read the question.

Thanks, I was worried that it may be difficult to set up wireless connection
And at John Lewis.
No..Its not
£4.99 for a laser 1000+ pages cartridge? That would be cheaper then an inkjet printer.
