If its Argos take it back under their 28 days rule. If its anywhere else like an online retailer send it back under DSRegs ;-)

Apparently this thing eats batteries like they are going out of fashion! Still want one though :P

good price voted hot, but looking at the reviews the battery life is meant to be very very bad on this camera, with standard AA batteries lasting 5-10 photos. Need to buy really good rechargeable batteries on top.

Need a mem card too as it only takes 7 shots before the in built 16mb is filled.

Lol that made me laugh!

I think it'd be fair to say this camera is cr*p!

I think the camera is supposed to be great, it's the battery life that's **** :)

Not much good a camera that eats batteries and can only get about 10 shots before they need replacing.

I suppose of you buy some high powered NiMH batteries 2600+ it may last a little longer. However battery life is reduced in cold weather, so may get less.

I can never understand why cameras like that are ever made, when you should be able to get at least 80 shots on a number many digital cameras before replacing the battery.

if you buy good rechargeable batteries i guess this camera could be ok. but go for one with a lithium ion battery. better a 6mp camera with good battery than this imo
a good rechargeable battery set up will cost £10. just to bear in mind. although still an brilliant price for this camera and a good find.

Use sanyo enoloop or uniross hybro rechargeables, lower mAH but longer lasting.

Thanks. Been looking for a cheap camera for my neices

this deal has been around for weeks. its true that they eat the batteries for its breakfast, rechargable batteries would be a very wise choice. also i think the model up (8meg pixel) is going cheap as well, i need to find the deal again

I got 26 pictures taken with the AA's that came with the cam before the camera shut down. After leaving it a while I got another 12.

I've got some 2700 rated rechargeables so I'll let you know how the camera fares with those.

Seems like a pretty good camera for the price!

Most Argos deals are due to the product having a flaw. They are just dumping **** stock.

If anyone wants to see the type of pics you can take here are a couple I did earlier:

I've reduced the image size by about half and they were taken in landscape mode as the light was beginning to fade.

I'm getting good life out of my 2700 rechargeables so far too. I'm well pleased with it considering the price.
