Hi, I'm interested in this, but do they credit check you or something?
I want to just register, get the code discount ;-) , pay with my debit card (in full), and get it sent!
Basically, can I use this the same as say Play.com, HMV online, etc?
Thanks

Anyone thinking of a Samsung for music then be advised they don't even have a proper adjustable EQ, just a few presets that sound awful. Even with £30+ headphones. I've tried a few (the latest was the u600) and they're all let down by this.

Does anyone know if this can be unlocked and how much for?

It is definitely locked. Best way is via a clip. These can be bought for about £8 on ebay - or hired for £5 - just put in "samsung unlock clip" into the search box. Or any market stall phone trader will be able to unlock it for a fiver.

Whoops sorry - what I said applies to the D900 not the D900i - however I understand (though can't confirm) that the E250 unlocking clip works on the D900i. Stall trader your best bet as they are likly to have all the clips

Apologies

why are you charging people for something that is free

AFAIK there are no free unlock codes for the D900i, there is a so called one floating about but if you use it you will end up with a phone which has the imei set to all zeros thus resulting in a phone that can not get a signal. I have noticed a few buyers have received phones that can not get a signal, would not surprise me if the code has been used or they have been sent a returnd phone that another buyer has messed with.
If you do use it and end up with all zeros then you will need to find a phone shop that will but the imei back in using hardware.
