Looks like a cracking deal. I've ordered one as i carry a business phone for my own business and a personal phone. This will be much handier.

Do you have to switch between the SIM cards, or do both receive signals at the same time? So if I was on a call with one SIM, could I receive a second call on the other? Or would I have to 'flick a switch' to activate one or the other?

I think it is the newer "active" dual sim phone so there wont be any need to reboot the phone to switch sim cards. Im guessing it can receive calls simultaneously.

why more latest smart phones don't allow multiple sims is a mystery to me. Especially when it's a fantastic feature and selling point.

      Manage your SIM cards

them. Learn to activate SIM cards and change the card
      settings.
      To switch networks
In Idle mode, press and hold [ ] to switch between
      networks.
      To activate SIM cards
      1. In Menu mode, select Settings → SIM cards
      management.
      2. Select Network and scroll left or right to a SIM card.
      3. Press to activate the card.
      To switch SIM cards automatically
      1. In Menu mode, select Settings → SIM cards
      management.
      2. Select SIM auto switch.

      Thanks

Shame you can't have both active at the same time. This phone is more of a convenience than actual functionality.

Is there a smartphone with 2 SIM cards? Haven't heard of any. So yes, I own a dual SIM card phone at the moment and am very happy with my 'black and white tv' :P

And exactly how many smartphones can you buy that cost £25?? Some people just want a phone to make and receive calls without all the bells and whistles and dont want to pay daft amounts just to have the latest gadget.

I have the Samsung C6112 dual SIM card phone. No need to switch something except when you want to decide from which SIM card you want to make a phone call (like I have 1 UK and 1 foreign SIM card and switching cards can save me money depending whom I want to call). but you can receive calls and text messages without switching to the other card, won't miss anything!
