Just bought one of these at this unbeatable new price. An excellent DVD player.

Plays MPEG-4, DivX also!

Excellent

Looks very un-dvd player like though?

Got one of these a little while back in a clearance sale at House of Fraser, really good bit of kit and a cracking price

Does this play the file formats of the USB? Or do you need to burn them on disc first?

It plays straight off the USB- doesn't play mkv files though. I was going to get one of these a few weeks ago, but they had none in stock so i got one off ebay. They sell for around this price on ebay, so very good price to buy new from a shop.

Tempted to buy a DVD player and would have bought this, as asthetically its a beauty.

However with Blu-ray players going down in price will have to back off buying a DVD player.

Heat added.

We have one of these and so far have had to send it back to samsung 3 times (its with them as I type) and we have only used it 7 times since we have had it, it just freezes and you cant even get the disk out. When it does work it is great and looks really nice and this was a good price. x

Doesn't seem to be a stock problem any more - I took it right to checkout without any problems.

Not buying one though... am trying to be good!

I have one of these (different model though) look great for a couple of minutes then they attract the dust like a magnet!

Works great not had any problems with mine apart from I can not get it to play multi region! It looks like they have improved the remote too as mine is very cheap and nasty.

They seem to have got somewhere towards the end of that thread. May be of help.
