Not usefull to the post at all.

I do not think folks will expect an amazing phone for this price. Just a cheap backup or for someone who wants something really basic.

so

Geez you're grumpy.
It would make an ideal phone for you to take away on holiday. Being **** is kind of the point of the price...
*lol really worth editting my already censored naughty word? :w00t:

word of warning, you will probably loose the functionality of your credit/debit card as they do 1p validations which makes banks block your card.

also if you have had 2 phones off them or carphonewarehouse they will not send you a phone and you will have to fight with them to get your money back. nor worth it, especially for this phone

This phone is excellent as a no frills backup phone. Its sturdy and battery lasts quite a while.Easy to use as well. What else do you expect at this price? Was 4.95+10£ before. So its a quid cheaper now. Heat from me.

Got one of these a month or so ago. The battery lasts 2 weeks in standby mode.

As to the phone being rubbish, the gunners have been rubbish for a couple of seasons.

picked one of these from asda the other day for £10
it really is a rubbish phone even for a back up.

VOTED SUPER HOT

This phone saved me a load of problems this weekend, went on a stag do to Torquay and lost my phone on the first night out, went to O2 got me a new sim card and spotted this phone in Carphone Warehouse for £4.95 plus the £10 top up, used the top up until my sim got activated and then got my number back up and running!

Perfect cheap and cheerful phone for a backup.

So is your spelling...

It's £4 + £10 credit

Seems like a good deal to me

Edit: It's also quite a good handset for people who need bigger, easier to use buttons

Like your spelling and quality of reasoning.

I would sooner have this phone in my pocket, than some amazing touch screen camera 3g gps web video whizz that mainly displays a dead battery symbol.

Great deal, depending what you want from a phone. Bought one for my Mother a few weeks back, she doesn't need a camera, loads of memory and fancy gadgets, she was made up.

Heat added

It's not aimed at kids!

It's for making calls and sending texts, efficiently.

My phone broke and i bought a similar model (E1120) from Argos last week as an 'in between' phones kind of phone....I paid £10 for it and had to buy £10 top up with it to get the deal. I still haven't had the tenner credited to my phone but inside the box was also a card that tells you how to get an extra tenner of phone credit just for keeping your old number....as i wanted to keep my old number anyway it was win win...so now i'm waiting to have my £20 credit added.

Oh, and the bonus was that with it being on Orange (my phone was from Argos, similar model)...we got in the Odeon for buy one get one free last Wednesday. Orange Wednesdays are Brill!

Sorry for the essay, just wanted to let you know about this being available at Argos (not sure when the deal ends). I really like this phone, the charge lasts ages, its got nice clear buttons and is super easy to text. I'm now in no hurry to look for another phone!

No, this phone is actually really good.

Very good battery life, crystal clear sound, lovely screen, nice size and feel. Its not an mp3 player or camera, or radio, or computer, and i wish it took an ordinary usb charger, but its just a very good phone.

If you buy from CPW, it should most probably be unlocked. All of mine were unlocked.
