Bought this phone 1 week ago at an o2 store. I rarely use my mobile and on average a spend of only £3 a month and got £6 credit added to my phone making the cost only £9. Anyone already on O2 Pay & Go then this is a great basic phone at a very cheap price, the battery was getting to the end of its days on my old phone so I basically got a new phone for the cost of a battery.

can you confirm whether it is locked to o2 or is it unlocked?
#2
No, to be honest I've got no idea but thought it ideal if already on o2, I'm sure someone could unlock it for you nowadays if you really needed to.
#3
Can also get £3.50 topcashback
#4
correctamundo! had the option of £3 off the phone instead of £6 credit.
#5
02 phones are usually open 2 all networks

The phones are normally locked to o2. Some previous posts mention the unlocking fee. If you are on o2 PAYG you get rewards. Either calltime added back to your account or a handset discount when upgrading to a new handset. Worth mentioning that regardless of where you buy your o2 phone, you can take it to any o2 store and they will send it for repair. Takes between 7 and 14 days and they can return it to your home free of charge.

So if purchased at an o2 store I can get £6 credit free?

Hot .
#8
£15 or £9? You got it for £9 because you have £6 reward?
#9
The reward is totally dependent on one's own spend on one's own PAYG mobile with o2.

10% off the price or 20% in calltime credit.

So if you have topped up with £30 since purchasing your original PAYG then it would be £3 (discount) or £6 calltime credit.....

but if you have topped up with less/more the figures would be different.....

The basic deal is £15 which is a good price for an o2 PAYG..........with the possibility of a further discount/calltime credit depending on your past spend with o2 PAYG.

The basically the price is £15 for the phone not £9.

Good deal anyway for a simple phone :)

Actually I belive the figures are 5%/10% of the total ammount topped up in the last 18 months back as either money off the phone/freecredit

I went to get this too but local o2 was out of stock so had to get the £20 one - you have to buy the £10 top up with it unless you are upgrading from another PAYG sim. I was after a cheap phone for my husband and although we are both o2 sim only contracts - still had to buy the top up to go with it!
#13
does it have bluetooth?
#14
Yes it does have bluetooth, a great price for a great neat phone. I was offered either £3 off the cost of the phone or £6 credit on the phone

I am on O2 pay as you go sim and transferred my original sim from my old phone into this one.
I didn't have to buy the £10 top up. It cost £15 with £6 credited to my phone.
