Posted this last week when it was £20 - Now £15 . Great price for a basic camera phone on 02

* VGA camera
* MP3 player (expandable up to 2GB)
* Video recorder
* Exclusive colour to O2
* Up to 9.5 hours talk time
* FM radio
* Size: 104.5 x 45 x 14.6mm

The Samsung E2120 is an unfussy phone with modest features. You get a camera, video, FM radio and MP3 player. It also comes with a longer battery life thank most phones, with up to 9.5 hours talk time, so you'll never be cut short on a call again.

DOn't forget there is £.50 quidco on this too making it £11.50 including free next day delivery.

Thanks a lot , heat added, just ordered one.

It has a few very good features not mentioned on the O2 website for a cheap phone, I was looking at this earlier tonight so had the page below bookmarked.
http://www.samsung.com/sg/consumer/mobile-phone/mobile-phone/essential/GT-E2120ARAXSP/index.idx?pagetype=prd_detail

Even though I do not need one, i'm tempted to get it as I have collected enough in my upgrade fund to get it free
Anybody on O2 remember you have a pay as you go upgrade 'phone fund', 5% on all your top ups in the past 18 months off a new pay 'n' go phone (or 10% if you take call credit instead of a discount).
You have to call 2550 from your O2 phone to purchase (you cant get the discount buying online), or they can tell you how much of a discount you have collected.

good deal i just bought the e2100 for £15 from very on o2
#6
Good find!! I ordered 2 of them, one for going abroad with and the other for my little boy because he lost his on friday.
#7
Looks good. However I assume this one is looked to the O2 network?
Anyone an idea how difficult it is to unlock?

Thanks
#8
Costs about £6 if you go to one of the phone shops or market stalls that unlock them.

I think you need some software and a cable to do it yourself so probably cheaper to get someone else to unlock it.

Do we need to choose a tariff definitely or just pay for the phone alone? Does anyone know?
#10
Bought it at £20 for my daughter and added a memory card for £7 - to hold her music. Great wee phone.

If you have already have O2 sim you just need to get the phone and put in your card. Think there is somewhere you can get free SIM ???

Just buy the phone and choose any of the plans, you dont have to top up by £15 a month, thats just the amount you would have to top up each month to get the free stuff such as free internet or texts, no pay as you go phone forces you to top up each month mate!. you could top it up by £20 and have that for a year or more.
#23
Thanks very much - first new phone for 3 years!

The salesman said it did have bluetooth - but I don't even know what that is!

Fab deal - thanks :thumbsup:

If you're already on O2, call 202 from your mobile, there's an option there to buy a new phone as an existing customer, I just did this, got straight through to an extremely helpful person, couple of mins later the order was processed for delivery tomorrow! :-D

Heat and rep added! Thanks to the OP! :thumbsup:

Hi, Can anyone recommend the cheapest / best value for money mobile phone that can take 8GB cards. I'm tired if carrying a phone and an mp3 player around with me.

Thanks

BTW - This looks like a good deal.

Thanks for this, I had no idea! So does this count if you're on contract, or is it just for pay as you go customers?

Great find - thank you just ordered one directly over the phone from o2 for £15. Its for a spare in case my iPhone goes in for repair.

Tried to go via Quidco to save £3.50 but once on the o2 web site it appears that you have to buy a monthly tariff as well? Unless someone knows how to checkout 'my basket' without adding the monthly tariff and I missed out saving £3.50.....

Thank you.

I'd suggest the Huawei U7150 http://threestore.three.co.uk/payg/default.aspx?Huawei=1 - £69.99 - previously available in Dec at Argos for £39.99

The U7150 is the cheapest model I know of, obviously it is on 3 and not O2.

I use 02 PAYG and top up usually £10 a month.

I tried 202 and got unobtainable.
#35
Does anyone know whats included with the phone?
'whats in the box' etc; Mains charger? headphones? PC cable?
#36
When I go online to order it says "add a tariff".

I already have a mobile with an 02 SIM PAYG and usually Top Up £10 monthly.

I'd like to put my SIM that I already have in the new phone.
