It was £39.99 last week , now it's reduced to £29.95. Not a high spec. phone, but worth of spending £29.95.

In fairness the price has come down again but might have been wise to add to original thread.

i paid £40 for the black one from orange about two weeks ago when quidco was only £5. ****. i still prefer the black one but for this price with this cashback its an awesome deal.

the phone is very nice
amazingly light
easy to use
buttons give very good feedback
3mp camera is good for this size and price, but its not as good as sony erics 2mp offerings
loudspeaker is very loud :-)
radio is awesome. it saved 41 different frequencies in under 5 seconds. not even my stereo does that. add to that its the loudest ive ever heard from a phone.

the only bad point is the screen. while its nice and the square resolution is a novelty, if you look at it from any angle other than straight on the screen either blackens or whitens out. ive seen it on other lower end offerings from samsung and its a shame, but dont let you put that off. i usually go for high tech high spec phones and bought this as a stop gap but im thoroughly impressed. its definitely worth the £40 i paid let alone this price.

hope this helps someone

Well that really is an exceptionally good price now its gone down once again.

I don't own the phone myself but have used someone elses and it could easily make a very good every day phone from my experience. Damn good spec for £30 also.

great price!

anyone know if there's any 'orange' branding on the case ?
thanks.
#15
with quidco @ £15 & £10 airtime voucher...you get this mobile for less than a fiver !

THIS IS INDEED A....HOTDEAL !...THANKS 'DEALSFINDER'.
#16
What...they drop it another £10 and with £15 Quidco you are basically getting this phone for £5. That's insane. I mean, most you can't even get a Sagem or Alcatel phone for that price and and they are utter ****. This phone has features which are hard to find under £40.

Nope...

The only thing you do have to watch for is if you are paying for it by cash.
If i remember rightly you then have to buy £20 airtime instead of the normal £10.I always use cards anyway and suggest you do the same.

HTH

** Actually edit that...originally it was a web only offer and you obviously had to pay by card...duh!. Not sure if it's available instore too now **

Many thanks.
Ordered one and reordered one. Both tracked in 30 minutes.
However I have to cancel the first order as I will charge me 9.99 delivery fee.
I chosed collection in store for the second order.

Be carefull the delivery charge If you are not in England, Scotland and Wales.

BTW, how to cancel the order? Just call them? Thanks.

Dont think they will honour ANY quidco at this price.

Ive played 4 seperate orders tonight for these phones

all have come back as order taken with there usual disclaimer

"Please note that all orders placed through the website are subject to acceptance. While we will of course make every attempt to accept your order, there are a number of reasons that are out of our control, that may cause your order to be rejected."

They then reject them on purpose

"We have now processed it through our secure systems, but are unable to despatch the item to you for security reasons. This order has now been cancelled."

After the first 2 I rang my bank they watched the other 2 go though live and carphoneware house computer their system tried to take the same payment twice for both phones imediately after each other which causes banks automatically to stop both these transactions as fraudulant actions.

This is a classic *coughs* we didnt tell you this but they dont want you to have this at this price as they are making no money according to Barclays Fraud Department.

I put one through straight after that without quidco while stil on the phone to the bank to watch it through and it went through totally fine as a single payment.

I got one last week - 2 secs after the order was placed my credit card company contacted me to see if I had placed the order.

Does this come unlocked/SIM free.. I know it's from CPW, and most phones are SIM free.. but I'm not sure about this one, as it's an orange exclusive phone..

Quidco has only tracked at £5 ?

Started through the earnings enquiries & it recognises that there's £10 missing?

Voted hot..... I did see this other week - but at this price decided to go for it...

I had this phone a few months ago and let me tell you what I think.

I searched long and hard for the smallest, lightest, bluetooth phone with up to date features at a good price and I could not believe what a bargain the E590 is!

Ok its not the best looking phone in the world, but it has everything you need, is tiny, slim and small all round, very sleek well finished and extremely light.

I'd reccomend this phone to anyone! The only reason I sold mine is to move to the Samsung D880 Duos (Dual Sim enabled) otherwise I'd still have mine just for a backup!!

Just wonder if there will be a delivery charge if I collect it in store. I am in Northern Ireland.

The order confirmation email indicates the delivery address is the store I have chosen.
