Don't quote me on the 3G, I think it's wi-fi b/g and PC connectivity only.

Damn, the 10% voucher from Currys is deleted from my Ebay, and I can't google it. Feeling it was for me only. Might have to expire this deal...

I had the 10% off in my account too so it wasn't just for you zaphodbb.

For anyone interested - compared to the Kindle this is about twice as thick, 30% heavier. The resolution is the same but it only support 8 level greyscale instead of 16 level on the Kindle. I don't think it has 3g? It does have a stylus and a few apps the Kindle doesn't have.

Does any one have a discount code for this i am interested.

The discount code is only for items they have advertised in the "promotions" category, for which this is not.

In fact as honourable as Currys is they have removed all products from the promotions category despite the offer being advertised as a May Offer.

At £69.99 this isn't that hot a deal - unless you really want one.

Thankyou bobking, that clears things up.

I wouldn't have surmised that from the brief descriptions given alongside the vouchers, which was all I was going on giving the retailers' usual inability to offer hot deals (though you seem to have found their bargains pretty quickly).

Oh, and I have only been following the prices of Kindles, and given that this is sold as having 3G and wifi I thought it a bargain at half the price of the equivalent Kindle, and fewer DRM issues.
