OSPS definition of Clearance phone is:-
By using reconditioned/clearance stock, we are able to offer you even further savings on your monthly line rental!

These items are either ex-demonstration, trial or mail order returned. These are not flawed products although they may carry very minor cosmetic marks. For your peace of mind, each and every handset has been quality inspected by our engineers & reconditioned if necessary. Each handset also comes with a full years manufacturers warranty.

Please note that reconditioned handsets are usually repackaged once tested and do not come in the original branded box. These products are only packaged with a manual and charger, other accessories and memory cards are not guaranteed

The clearance phone I bought from OSPS had 2 software faults and 1 hardware fault. So much for it being quality inspectedhttp://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/images/icons/icon8.gif

It was returned - at my expense!

Bought a E900 yesterday - cheapest I could find (term) was £138.93 on Orange Dolphin 25 (12 month). First 7 months 1.99, 25 for the final 5. e2save, so £36.50 quidco.

Certainly couldn't find the above deal, but Dolphin 25 suits WAY better than canary 30 anyway, so probably not much difference here.

More fun (though obviously way more expensive) was an E900, £20 quidco, xbox 360, two months half price, £30/month contract for 18 months. can't actually remember where though :)

---EDIT---

Right, got notification that the clearance E900 was on back order, so I cancelled that, and re-ordered non-clearance, brand new E900 which they have in stock.

Amusingly the offer is now Dolphin 25 with the first 7 months free, so that's cheaper than the clearance one. £125 - £36.50 quidco = £88.50 term cost. Once again, perfect because dolphin 25 matches the usage it's gonna have pretty well.
