I bought my W710i from Play.com on Vodafone recieved it fully unlocked. So there may be a chance of this already being unlocked.

Plus the E900 has that code so that it can be used on another network but thats temporarily, after switching on and of the phone it goes back onto locked network. - On this Forum somewhere and all other the web.

These are great phones - love my pink one!

:!: Warning tho! Please DO NOT use any unlocking codes on these phones as there is a chance it will overheat and go on fire! Get an unlocking clip off Ebay (there are some sellers you can use and return it for a couple of quid).

this sooo works! thanks allot mate, but if you do not how to find comports and stuff dont try it.

just insert the sim you want to use, the invalid sim thing will come up, them press

*#9998*3323# and press exit and then go to malloc fall, the fone with re-start accepting your sim. then just do that every time you start your fone!

I have done this and it works

It seems like the RAC 10% off is only for selected items.

Got to agree with earlier comments.

This looks like a great phone, very stylish. Problem is, it's a pain to use (I really regret getting mine, 3 months ago).

Those touch-sensitive buttons are more annoying than useful, and regularly, I have to type in SMS messages particularly slowly, as the phone isn't keeping up.

Avoid... go for a Samsung model without those touch-sensitive buttons if you can.

it isnt rubbish.

entering the code resets the battery calibration data along with other things.

and if you're not careful, you will end up with a barred phone as well as one code resets the imei to 15 0's which is a barred number

we wernt allowed fireworks this yr so rigged up a series of e900s , sadly we were let down as we were hoping for more colour , the gold wasnt gold once lit and the pink was closer to red as it shot 300 foot into the sky spreading itself over a wide area , the wasnt too much of a delay between the code and ignition so cant complain too loudly and also it worked out alot cheaper than the black cat fireworks from our local co-op

Dont know what problems you have experienced with this phone, but I bought mine with the Littlewoods codes in july :whistling: It was locked when I received it to Virgin, but I spent 99p on a code on ebay which unlocked it immediately I have had no problems with the phone "going on fire", as for the touch sensative buttons I guess it just depends on how big your fingers are ! I personally love my phone and found it worth the money, it is small neat and beautiful makes calls what more could one ask for :giggle:

Gave in and ordered. Thanks Edi. Heat but no rep because it says I need to give it to other people before you again (don't worry you're first in the queue) :p
