Cheapest I can currently find for this phone. Great price!!
Just a quick question. Newbie to contracts like but. What happens after the 12 months, can you keep the phone for free?
Also what does this bit mean??
10 months Free line rental (Equivalent after Cashback)
Firstly, yes you do keep the phone... it's yours. At the beginning of the 12th month you contact the network and tell them you want to cancel when the 12th month ends. You can cancel without any bother and you stop paying the line rental. You usually have the option to convert your SIM to PAY-G.

As for cahsback... You pay the £30 per month and at 5 stages during the year you send off bills and "claim" the money you have paid back from The Mobile Outlet.

I've copied this straight from their T&Cs.

The Mobile Outlet
It is important that you read and understand the terms for claiming your cash back. In order to qualify for your cash back it is important that you comply with the exact terms of the relevant cash back. All cash back and half price rentals must be made in writing and within the relevant time limits. You must also send in original bills to us. Copies are NOT acceptable. It is your responsibility to make sure we receive them within the relevant time limits. Once we are receipt of your original documentation, please allow 28 days for delivery of cheques. Original bills are not returned unless a self addressed envelope is provided.

Please note: All our offers on cash back and half price line rental entitlements are also conditional upon you paying your phone bill on time and by the date specified on the bill. If you make any payment which is late then you will loose your entitlement to the cash back and half price line rental.

11.3 If your cash back entitlement is more than £201 for a 12 month contract, you have to claim your money back in a 5 stage process. This cash back offer is conditional upon you complying with the exact terms of this clause. The steps in point 11.1, 11.2 only apply to contracts where the cash back entitlement is £200 or less. To claim cash back in cases where your entitlement is £201 and above you need to comply with the following 5 stages listed below. If you do not comply with the exact terms of each of these stages you will loose your entitlement to your cash back. If any one stage is not complied with, you will loose your entitlement to claim the whole of the cash back. If there have been any late payments made on your account at any time this will result in your application for cash back being void.

It is your responsibility to ensure that the relevant documentation reaches us within the relevant period. The stages of claiming the cash back are:

In month 4 of your contract you will need to forward bills 1through to 4 to us within 21 days of the issue date on bill number 4.
In month 7 of your contract you will need to forward bills 5 through to 7 to us within 21 days of the issue date on bill number 7.
In month 9 of your contract you will need to forward bills 8 & 9 to us within 21 days of the issue date on bill number 9.
In month 11 of your contract you will need to forward bills 10 & 11to us within 21 days of the issue date on bill number 11.
In month 12 of your contract you will need to forward to us bill 12 within 21 days of the issue date on bill number 12.
11.4 Any cash back queries after 14 days of order must be forwarded to [email protected]">[email protected]. The customer service team will not be able to help with any queries after this point.

11.5 You must include your original dispatch note with your first claim for any cash back application to be successful. If your order is submitted without or with a copy of your dispatch note your cash back application will be void.

As you can see, they are quite harsh and make it quite hard for you to get the cashback by making it easy to make a mistake!!

1) Make a calendar of dates/months to keep track of cashback.
2) Send claims as soon as you receive the correct bills!!
3) Send claims recorded or special delivery.
4) Follow the T&Cs to the letter. Make sure you read them carefully, especially the bit I have quoted above, and do exactly what they say.

Yes, it is easy to make a mistake. Just beat them at their own game and don't make a mistake!!

Best of luck. ;)
But if I can't be bothered with the cashback, will I still only have to pay 60 pounds for the last 2 months of the contract? (10 months free line rental)
No. You pay £360 during the whole year, but you keep claiming it back until you've paid just £60.

Without the cashback it's a huge £360 for the year!! :!:
Ah I see. What is this 12months free line rental also? Surely you can't get a phone for free???
No, it's 10 monhts free line rental after cashback with a free phone. The cashback makes it 10 months free.

The idea is that you'll spend more than your inclusive allowance, so the network will get money anyway, but you don't have to go over.

It's not 12 months free line rental. It's 10 months free.
I know mate, but what I meant is some phone contracts have 12 months free line rental on a 12 month contract? So do you have to do cashback to do this?
Yes. Unless you buy a deal straight from the network - o2, T-Mobile, Virgin, etc - it's almost always cashback.

All of the ones I post are cashback. Every cheap deal is. :) That's how thyey do it. They depend on people forgetting to claim. There's no such thing as a free lunch. ;)
Thanks for the help mate. :)
You're welcome.
Still available everyone!!
Someone at work has just got an E900 and I had a play with it, I was worried it'd break in my hand, it's so light and it feels like a plastic toy. The touchscreen was nice though, couldn't see myself using one though.
Good spot Ducky, though I'm still not enamered on The Mobile Outlet.

No, well I have a contract with them. I'm hoping it all goes smoothly or else it's an expensive K750i, lol.
It's still available everyone!! Don't miss out!! Just £60 for this great phone!!
