You all know about the Samsung EVO branding with computer SSD, this is the faster (Class 10) than the slower blue coloured Samsung 16GB microSDHC Class 6. Very good for faster frequent transfer of data of photos and videos. But more importantly for those using this in Windows, Android tablets/phones is the top end read/write speed for 4k data (read further details below).
17 Aug 2014 dropped £1 to £5.95, still much cheaper than Amazon's own price of £8.60
I bought a mix of these new coloured Samsung Class 6 and Class 10 for different uses.
MPN : MB-MP16DEU
This is Class 10
Maximum Read Speed : 48MB/s
Minimum Read/write Speed : 10MB/s (Class 10)http://www.storagereview.com/samsung_32gb_evo_microsd_memory_card_review_mbmp32d
for 32GB one is Sequential posted read and write speeds of 44.4MB/s and 19.1MB/s respectively (same test for The SanDisk Ultra 32GB recorded sequential activity at 44.66MB/s and 14.29MB/s for read and write respectively. )http://thewirecutter.com/reviews/best-microsd-card/
This is the important information for tablet and smartphone users where the 4K read write speed is much better for this EVO In our tests, the Samsung clocked 4 KB random read speeds of 5.844 MB/s and write speeds of 1.066 MB/s in the CrystalDiskMark test which is at the top end for 4K read/writes for Class 10 microSDHC. (The 4 KB random write speeds on some cards tank from 1-2MB/s down to .006 which is why Tom Hardware Guide test suggest tablet and smartphone users should buy Class 4/6 in preference to Class 10.)
