not for a 3.5 inch drive you didn't, which is what this is. what you put in your ps3 is a 2.5 inch.

just to make it clear this will not fit in a ps3, please don't mislead people, dusty.

i got this drive from amazon for £39 delivered not that long ago and this is also available regularly from scan for £37 with free next day delivery for members of avforums.

Cold from me

this looks a good price and ebuyer always good with delivery, voted hot.
#5
getting one delivered today @ £35.99 inc next day delivery

you should really include the postage cost in the total above, which is really what makes this deal icy icy cold for me
#6
£37.19 on Scan's 'Today only' page, with free delivery for AVForums/Hexus members witht the required post count (which most people on here that buy hardware should have done by now).

But obviously this is a better deal if you happen to be buying other items from Ebuyer to make it up to/over £50.

Can't understand the hear when postage isn't included and it is cheaper elsewhere
#8
will this fit in a ps3?

This is great value- paid £60 only 6 months ago. Currently doing a sterling job in my Sky HD box- how I ever coped with standard storage I don't know- sent my free space from 20 to 80% when I put this in.

Because a lot of people click heat from the deals list.
This gets heat thanks to the ops misleading title.

Someone should post the cheaper option from Scan, I'm too lazy :p.

It's certainly a good price as a hard drive, but in terms of 'Gb per pound' Ebuyer do better value 2Tb drives (£57.56 for their cheapest at the moment, which also qualifies for free delivery). I guess it depends on whether speed or capacity is the aim?

Mate of mine just bought one from ebuyer as he didn't fancy a scan gre import. This only had a 1 year NON samsung warranty. He had to argue with ebuyer to return for a refund. I would buy from scan (as much I would not want to) as at least you get 3 years with them. Or from somewhere else for a proper Samsung warranty. To me it's worth paying extra for. Having just used Samsung's warranty service, it was great.

Just checked ops history, makes a habit of excluding postage costs.

And VAT in some... probably intentional just to gain false heat.

Ebuyer also provide a 3 year warranty on this drive.
But regardless, it's still cheaper at Scan if not ordering anything else.

Anyone know if these would be compatible in a Sky+HD box (Amstrad 780)?

Plenty of people have had to call Ebuyer to find out, which is where the info comes from.
Check the comments thread on their site for this model HDD.

Make sure you get something in writing from them, you don't want to trust the comments on the site and a phone call to them wont give you any comeback
