  I have a feeling these are dropping because the 4 and 5tb hds are coming soon...

  ive had a couple of these fail on me, more hassle than they are worth. Not a bad deal however because of the poor quality. its cold from me.

  It's £89 if you want it in proper packaging. I've bought 2 drives from Amazon with their "Frustration Free" packaging and both were DOA. Theres no protection whatsoever, I've had books delivered with more protection.

  Could be an idea to stock up on these drives before the reduced Warranties from the two major players kick in:

  looks like Seagate (who now own Samsung HDD) are going to be cutting their Barracuda Green warranty to just 12 months - guessing that the Samsung F4 drives will be brought in line and issued with the same 1 year warranty over the coming weeks.

  I've had one of these in my VU+ Duo satellite receiver (so much better than the Sky on by the way) since February, running everyday (instant rewind is active) with no problems at all.

  Never once had an issue with samsung, WD i have had expansion click of death at least 3 times, 5400rpm is perfect for storage, your hardly going to install your OS on a 2tb drive, well you would if your a n00b,

  1 year warranty :(. It is bad enough that a "2T drive" only have between 1.7 to 1.8 usable storage.Wonder how HD manufactures will get round this with 4T drives?
