Before everyone starts asking......... Here is the unlocking steps

1-Turn on the phone with half non-accepted sim card in, so phone will be asking for sim to be inserted
2-Then slide the sim in fully (without turning off the handset)
3-Do full reset *2767*3855# , phone will reboot and goes to Menu .
4-Customize Sp-lock code *7465625*638*00000000*00000000#
5-Unlock your phone with new SP code #7465625*638*00000000#
6-Enjoy G600 unlocked

Use at own risk but this has worked for me without problems

You can also call vodafone and say you have it for more than a year (your account should have been started >1 year). they will give you the code for free.

This will only work on some variants depending on what Firmware in on the phone. Newer versions of the G600 require hardware to unlock, just a heads up in case anyone messes it up.

Use the same codes and give it a try :) Those codes work on quite a few samsungs, not the newer models though,

On some of the older models you also need a few extra codes to make the unlock permanent, but give it a go with the listed ones for now

I'm sure I tried that method of unlocking my old G600 a few months back as I wanted to increase sell-on price, but it did indeed reset imei to all zero's and no longer works on O2.

But great deal, if it's nationwide

£99.99 online.

Now showing as £79.99 online

I have one of these phones, and it's great. I had been paying a month 'insurance' on it, but if I can get one of these for £40 then I'll get one and stop the insurance!
#26
They had these in my local sainsburys Moorallerton Leeds but only for about 1 hour then they had all gone
#27
I have given up going to Sainsbury in the hope of finding one of the bargains posted. They are NEVER available.

I think they are posted by Sainsbury just to lure shoppers into the store.

Just 'cos I'm Paranoid, that doesn't mean everyone isn't out to get me
#28
Loads in my local ones, but all say £149 even after scanning, will just be a typical sainsburys one-off where the odd store has a discontinued line. Good if u can get one tho.
#29
hooray henry - I must say that I'm totally amazed at your comments my friend! The G600 in my experience must have the poorest quality camera I've ever used on any mobile phone ever and the battery life is shocking and has never lasted more than a single day after very limited usage! I've even had repalcements and also purchased replacement official Samsung batteries for it and it's no better and needs recharging every single day regardless of how much it is used. I was told poor battery life is the norm for Samsung mobiles though but this phone is really very bad indeed on battery life.

Well I missed out on this phone but I did pick up the Samsung sgh-j700 from my local branch for £10.00 :)

Further to above Reedswood Walsall are out of stock after a deluge of customers last night.
Sutton Coldfield only had the one I bought and are now also out of stock.

My wife's G600 is the same, poor battery and poor 5mp camera. my old K810i took better pictures by far, she has 2 batteries and charges every other day.

And it was an original purchase from o2.
