Hi
Thanks for posting. I have added an image to your post.
This is a link, made by rayman, which explains how to add images in great detail. It’s worth taking a look at if you are going to post more deals in future : - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/339941/how-to-post-and-host-images-for-thr/
Or follow the link in my signature.
Kind regards

#3
great fone this...i used to fix Samsungs and found the g600 by far the best.
#4
Will this phone work with a 'three mobile' 3G sim?

Cheers

Good solid reliable phone - I still have mine!
But to be fair, it's getting a bit old, so I dunno if it's worth buying at all now.
Thanks for the link though OP.

Worst phone i have had the displeasure of using!!! - not the easiest to navigate and sometimes even the simplest of things becomes a nightmare to do, like trying to remove keypad tones etc etc.

This phone feels like its about 8 years behind itself - if this was released 10 years ago you'd probably be impressed but for a recent phone its dreadfull.

Just read the reviews
#7
OP - you failed to mention it's locked to vodafone!
#8
does it come with bluetooth headset?
#9
Certainly the most efficient and reliable phone that I have owned to date. It's not exactly brand spanking new now, but I'd consider it a good shout on a cheaper contract.

Can't say I've ever struggled to find anything on it. As for removing the keypad tones, there is actually a button on the side of the phone specifically for that.....

This might be the cheapest 5mp phone out there, to be honest the camera isn't great. Had this phone on O2 with O2s usual poor firmware, never bothered debranding the phone. It's a good deal anyway, the phone certainly isn't rubbish but neither is it great.

This is no bargain, day before yesterday I bought this very same deal for £39.99 via vodafone themselves on a popular auction site.

Yes but what you should have said was that it was a deal for one day only....not quite the same unless they are still selling for £39.99 now ? If so I stand corrected :whistling:

mate that deal does not exist any more , very few people managed to pick up G600 as stock were limited. ebay is NOT used for price comparison here on hotukdeals so find a better reason to vote cold next time.

this is the cheapest price for the phone (which is available to purchase)------Voted Hot.

Voted cold... got one from ebay for £39.47 after quidco - direct from Vodafone with a full Vodafone warranty!

I've got this as a business phone and it's been a good solid phone for the last couple of years, fantastic battery life  don't know enough about the mobile phone market to comment on the price though

If this was the deal they had on a few days ago - it no longer exists and therefore this is a good price for a decent 5mp phone - no reason to vote cold....
#24
you can get this for £40 from the official vodaphone ebay site, brand new, i just picked it up yesterday
#25
my bad all sold out now

so its a decent deal

How is it a good price if vodafone themselves were doing it £20 cheaper? I really dont understand the logic of some of you people. If the phone was available for £39.99 even for one day, you CANNOT say this is a good deal in light of that.

Ive had this phone on t-mobile for nearly a year now and it is good. The only thing im hoping someone can help me out if they have it with t-mobile is getting the picture message settings etc sorted. Ive tried a few times on there web page and even on the phone to them they have sent the settings and done it for me i.e saved there settings to my phone but i still cant send picture messages, emails etc and its driving me nuts.

Oh dear indeed - okay it is not a good deal because the £39.99 deal which was a special one day only price is no more. So let me see if this is the cheapest price currently available for this phone then I think it is a good deal in the here and now
If someone else finds it cheaper then this will no longer be a good deal as the cheaper one takes the honours.....
I hope that makes sense - :whistling:

Exactly... this deal isnt hot if its been that much cheaper before... this isnt cheapestukproduct.com... this is hotukdeals.com

of course that was new, boxed, with a full 12 month warranty?

I was thinking of buying this phone, as it seemed like unbelievable value for the money. Two things stopped me:

1) The lack of firmware upgrade from Samsung (I think they simply haven't bothered to release any at all)
2) The fact that some special chars (comma/apostrophy?) are hidden in a menu when texting.

What are you talking about gary_rip

If a price is cheaper then does that preclude any deals in the future that are greater than the cheapest ever price, even if that cheap price was for one day only ?????

This is hotukdeals and if this deal is the cheapest around at the moment then it is a good deal......if you don't think so then don't post in this thread.....

A good deal yes... a hot deal no. Just a regular average deal that fills hukd with so much you cant find the HOT deals.

If i dont think its a good deal the idea IS to post so that others can make up their own mind.

Maybe you should read up what hotukdeals is about. ;-)

Indeed it was, and it came with a 512mb micro sd card.

Well no offense but I couldn't care two hoots about your opinion of whether a product is hot or not. As far as Im concerned if a deal is cheaper than anywhere else to me its a hot deal, now if you can tell me where its STILL cheaper instead of bleating on about how it was cheaper on one day in limited quantities, then I would be interested, until then......:whistling:

3) Its rubbish

I hope that people wont be swayed by your typically negative post.

My OH has had this phone for over a year and loves it, its got a nice solid feel to it, its not huge and she finds it easy to use (if anything the camera is a bit of a let down). Then again as shes not 12 years old, ringtones don't really matter to her, neither does she send hundreds of texts to the person standing next to her :whistling:

As with ALL Samsungs I've ever owned including the U900, you can turn off the keypad, you just need to READ THE INSTRUCTIONS
