In my opinion, this is an excellent deal!

For £40 a month on Vodafone you get:

- A FREE Samsung G500 Mobile (Approx: £200)
- A FREE Nintendo Wii (Inc Wii Sports) (£180rrp but alot more on ebay)
- £160 Cashback
- 500 Anytime minutes
- 500 Inclusive text
- Plus £45 Quidco

Plus the main benefit is that you are buying it from a reputable source (phones4u group) and they have very relaxed cashback claim terms.

More Details Below:

The Samsung G600 is set to create a huge impact, as the current stigma that high quality camera phones should be oversized, over weight and bulky is about to be exorcised, as the Samsung G600 will be the latest mobile phone with a 5 mega pixel camera to hit the streets, with one big difference, its only 14mm thick.

Samsungs reputation for producing high spec handsets in small packages is only going to be further enhanced in the Samsung G600 as their latest venture. Compact and ultra stylish in its design, the Samsung G600 is not only breaking conversion, it is set to smash the current pretenders off of the high spec camera pedestal.

So, if you want a high end specification mobile phone, and do not wish to comprise on design, then the Samsung G600 is certainly the mobile phone to keep image conscious technology enthusiasts extremely content, and able to take pictures to be proud of. Additionally, the Samsung G600 will come supplied with a 1GB memory card, Bluetooth headset, and the latest image editing technology.

You won't get it for xmas though

Tell me the cold votes are not because you THINK you won't get the Wii for xmas?!?!?!

This is a great deal!! And if your in for a Wii, then its worth a shot but even if it comes after xmas, the DEAL is still great!!

Given that a lot of people have just got stung by Mobile Affiliates going bust (read: Execs gone on long term holiday whilst ex-employees and everyone else suffers) you are going to struggle to get any enthusiasm going for a cashback deal I'm afraid. Nice try though.

cashback deals are auto cold......... stay away from them.... i can see e2save and 1stopphoneshop doin the same soon........ does anyone know mobileconnectionsonline or dialamobile...... robbed millions..... all sitting in sunny dubai or cuba or something................................................

No it's not. Mobiles2YourDoor is part of the 4U group and is registered by Phones4U. It's probably one of the more reputable firms to get a cash back deal if that is your want. Pretty good deal...don't know how they're getting the wii stocks though.
#7
phones2yourdoor were part of the 4u group they are now in liquidation.

so was phoneboxdirect although they will now deny this

anyway its your money, if you want to lose it all then go lose it
#8
anyone got any links to threads/stories on these going bust??
#9
I reckon CPW is still safe for cashbacks. 2 months to claim for it, plus they are the most reputable IMHO.

phones2yourdoor were part of 4u? You sure?

But I agree there is an element of risk with cash back offers. Although, the two I did a few years ago I didn't have a problem with. YMMV.

Am I missing something here? if you don't get your wii or phone, couldn't you just cancel your DD - that way no money lost?
#12
But........... mobiles2yourdoor is not in liquidation..........

I got stung by Coolnewmobile but since Vodafone were willing to cancel my contract i decided to look for something more reputable i.e. CPW and Phones4U group.

Ive went ahead with this deal cos I called up and they said that it will be highly likely that ill get my nintendo Wii before xmas which makes this a fantastic deal
#13
I was initally confused - mobiles2yourdoor is a different company to phones2yourdoor (who have gone bust)
#14
Any company in liquidation...would need to cease trading immediately.

Hugh, CrazyMonkey and Mr T - I don't think it is the deal that is cold its just your brains.

Mobiles 2 dour door are not in administration and are NOTHING to do with the other sites you randomly brought into this discussion.

Fair enough stay away from some sites but ones like this, One Stop Phone Shop and E2save which are part of either phones4u or CPW are very unlikely to go under!

Next time think before posting rubbish as facts and pressing the cold button.

To be fair the names of these companies are confusing. Mobiles2yourdoor, phones2yourdoor, phones4u, phones2u. I don't think companies should be allowed to use names so similar, as it is bound to cause confusion at best, and the companies could be accused of "passing off" as each other at worst.

FYI I think there is a clearance phone on the m2yd website which is the same deal but gives you 6 months cashback. Sorry i can't remember which one it was now.

Finally!! Someone understands! Cheers Cheap_n_Nicety Glad someone actually has a brain between their ears!

I took a deal out with mobiles2yourdoor a few months ago and I got my Wii from them very quickly. Admittedly that was before "the frenzy" took hold of the nation.

I agree that people should double check what they 'think' they know before spouting off about about a companies financial situation and not merely repeat what they read, or indeed misread, on an internet forum.

the porter
in the end i ordered form dialaphone, nokia 6800, free wii, £60 quidco ,£20 refer a friend, 18 month contract, £180 a month allowance t mobile i have used dialaphone many times and they have never let me down yet

From my experience of Dialaphone I am surprised you could use both as their systems boot you out if you try to combine quidco and refer a friend.

I also found that as you could not speak to anyone it was diffucult to query anything- I would say that having not used mobiles2yourdoor but rather phones 4u previously I found them to be ok (thus far) with cliams and in terms of being contactable.

I didn't say it was - I was just pointing out that cashback deals aren't flavour of the month. After all the question was asked:
Tell me the cold votes are not because you THINK you won't get the Wii for xmas?!?!?!

I suggest you lookup the meaning of random before you use it next, my reference to the other firm is perfectly valid.

So my saying that

Is wrong? People are still loving them? At at current temp of minus 48.2 degrees I beg to differ.

P.s. Nice insult, i see what you did there. Cold voting, cold brains. Fantastic! :giggle:

I try my best and when the time is right more nuggets of comedy gold will be released into the public domain.

To be honest though I still think that saying just because one company in the same sector has gone bust means that you should avoid all of them is a bit random.

I for one am quite happy that cashback deals are usually cold as everyone paying full whack can continue to subsidise my mobiles.

Also I think its a bit of the "sheep factor" with voting. If a few people post negative comments and vold cold then people tend to follow. This same phone with the same company 8 months free was posted 2 weeks to 51 degrees.

Toybhoy asked a question, I suggested an answer. Where did I say to avoid them?

You are also assuming I voted cold.
