Voted cold sorry!

Cheaper @ Tesco Direct (just a quick google search could find that info) - £449 with 898 clubcard points

Cashback is not guaranteed (you also get c'back with TD but not as much as 15% only 3.03% via TCB)

Thanks for letting me know about TESCO - checked on the following link but its not apples for apples .... Best Buy is a 32GB Total Memory whereas Tesco is 16GB. Reckon Best Buy therefore is a better buy

over priced, i would rather have an ipad, samsung should be alot cheaper simply because of quality brand name and all that,
Sorry hadn't seen that but a 16gb MicroSD card is less than £20

Plus a number of us don't live anywhere near a Best Buy. So the Tesco Direct deal would still be cheaper by only a few £'s though

The bulk of the cold voters are probably Apple Lovers & are too scared to vote for 1 of the best iPad beaters on the market. Its a shame they price it too much as originally there were rumours it would be nearer £200. Paying iPad prices for a smaller screen but with more features (INCLUDING FLASH support!!!)???

Too expensive I feel at its current price point! If Samsung truly wants to be an iPad beater they should've priced it below £250 (i'd have bought it!)

do you ever get bored posting this?
i bought a samsung tab because i didnt want an ipad. still dont,

i got a refund for my samsung tab, traded some stuff in at cex and paid £150 cash (£116 in credit reciept also) and got a dell streak, once the 2.2 is released for the streak it will perform like the tab but so much cheaper,
guess every thing is down to preference at the end of the day!
Had a Streak - returned it. Too big for a phone - didnt want to believe it but it is. Accessories are far to expensive. And the sound quality is crappy, this aint no ipod replacement.

It is great for surfing the net though so if this is your main use then you'll enjoy.
Has anyone tried out this:

Seems for £349 inc vat (you'd have to install Linux yourself) or Win 7 pre-installed from £439 inc vat - an excellent buy a lot more powerful than the meagre iPad

Don't want to post as a separate deal as there are too many Apple lovers on HUKD and we all know how they hate people stating how bad their devices are.

With this device you can install your own OS, seems a good price for a very good spec & it's a fully functioning PC (not a glorified e-book reader)

Actually thought i'd take the flak so posted it online:

Some of us may find the post useful. I know for one I'm thinking about it now, as it is a fully working PC for the price of a standard laptop!
