Why anyone would buy this over an s5 or an LG G3 is beyond me...

You clearly can recognise substance over style sir - I suspect others may not be able to :)

Not everybody likes a HUGE phone or needs every conceivable bell and whistle... horses for courses!
I'm sure Samsung saw a market for this phone even if certain HKUDers now cannot.
Reasonable price compared to the competition if you're after this model.

Where you can pay upto £350 for a phone, i dont see why an extra £18 would matter... :/

I don't understand why people say this is "premium" anyway. It's not like it's aluminium unibody or anything, it's just a shrunk S5 design with more aluminium around the outside and a bigger price tag.

No idiot, the S5 mini's not as premium as it has less aluminium around the outside. And a decent sized battery and a realistic price tag.

Alpha is style over substance.

-Battery is barely okay
-Z3 Compact is better (waterproof, better battery and better price).

Needs to be cheaper but other then that it is a really good phone looks and build!

Got the phone (euro model) from Rakuten for £320 using the £50 off voucher last week. It's a nice little phone, it's nice and light and feels good in the hands, does everything a phone should no probs and the battery is an imlrovement on my old Nexus 5, so if you want a decent phone but don't like how mobiles are getting as big as they were back in the 80's then this is definitely the phone for you. :D

I'd recommend the Sony Z3 Compact over this

Look it's designed for iPhone people so it's got a low res screen, poor battery and over priced. Seems like a good deal for iPhone people?

No it's designed for people that are convinced they are getting a better deal but have no idea why.
