This phone is pretty comparable to the Orange San Francisco. The only thing that lets it down is the screen resolution.

The cheapest I can currently find the OSF is £110 at Tesco. So it's up to you if you think the extra £30 is worth it for the (admittedly lush) screen on the OSF.

The Apollo does have it's camera and battery life in it's favour though.

yes but both this and OSF are kinda old now, I mean its was Ok to buy them last year or in february, but now there should be many new models.

So because there should be but don't seem to be newer options in this price range it's not ok to buy them now? Weird

Have to say the screen resolution of the Galaxy would really put me off. The OSF has an excellent screen for the price (it's better than an iPhone 3gs and pretty close to an iPhone4). The OSF also has double the Ram which could help speed wise.

The camera is not great on the OSF, pretty sure the Galaxy would be better, and battery life probably better on the Galaxy.

The screen on the OSF would swing it for me, even at £30 more, but guess it depends what you want from your phone.

Also the price of this model has been same for again the same period, probably since january. It is like if you offer to buy this phone next year for 5 pound less.. who wants it.

^^

I'm not sure if I follow your logic but what's the alternative? If you can point me towards a better phone for the price, I'll hold my hands up.

BTW, this is the cheapest the phone has been for a while AFAIK.

why do you also have to purchase a top up?

^^

Standard marketing practice. Lure you in with a low price and then...BAM! That'll be an extra tenner please.

Expired!

The Europa deal turned out to be better anyway.
