Looking at various ways to fund a S7 edge, this was the best deal I could find for one of the established networks (approximately £90 cheaper than buying new). The phones apparently haven't been used for more than 14 days (in accordance with the returns policy) and come with 12 months warranty. Anyway, if the condition isn't "as new" it will be going back. Vodafone network.

Also possible £30 Quidco (which I forgot about, grrrrr).

500 minutes, unlimited texts, 500MB 4G data.

I've got the S6 edge and honestly think it's a waste of money. Just get the regular S7. There's nothing useful to have the Edge other than looking nicer.
Not to mention the problems getting a screen protector etc..

Good point about the screen protector, but the edge has a larger battery, larger screen and thinner body. Non of them game changers, but I fancied that curved screen.

Ive got the s7 edge and my wife has the standard s7 and I have to agree with you, wish id just gone for the standard one. The edge is a gimmick and I don't use any of the edge features (they are pretty crap tbh) sometimes a button on an app can be on the edge of the screen making it a pain to press and the fact there isn't a screen protector that stays down for more than a few days is a nightmare! Don't get me wrong, its a beautiful phone to look at but in practical everyday use the edge is more of a hindrance than a help.

Is it worth the RIsk ? Edge may well have a different battery, but it still could be made by the same company in the same factory (not sayingit is though)

I was tempted to get the Edge 7 as im an iOS developer and branching out to Android for future releases. This has really put me off. I have got other Android phones though before people start calling me a sheep

I've seen an iPhone blow up in a sandwhich shop, plumes of black smoke too, it happens, batteries are temperamental items and the only reason this s7 story is getting traction is because of the note 7 recall.
If Samsung believed there was any risk of other phones exploding they'd recall them too.

How much is the regular S7 worth? New and sealed?

A brief check on CPW shows £549, ridiculous.

Received the phone today and very pleased. The phone is in excellent cosmetic condition, really is "as new".

Also original packaging, all accessories look unused. Happy chap.

Couldn't agree more. Stupidest decision I've ever made.
