Pipe down.
Lol, and the S3 looks nothing like the iPhone.
Seriously, suing for universal search? Amazing, apple..
The only reason why Apple are suing is because they have a huge expendable reserve (about $40bn) which they have nothing better to do with. They're only interest is complete domination over innovation. For example, rather than use that money to push the development of HTML 5, they instead halt developing updates for Windows version of Safari. Instead of playing ball together with other companies, like all the companies did before, they rather throw tantrums like a rich little spoilt brat who thinks the neighbours kids are copying him for playing the same ball game.

You can hate Apple and Steve Jobs all you want but you can't say that he wasn't innovative in the way he did business. The company he started, was effectively fired from and came back too is one of the biggest in the world and has made some of the most iconic products ever created. If you think innovation is the same as invention then you are wrong. This is the first few sentences from the wikipedia entry for innovation:
"Innovation is the development of new customer value through solutions that meet new needs, unarticulated needs, or old customer and market needs in new ways. This is accomplished through different or more effective products, processes, services, technologies, or ideas that are readily available to markets, governments, and society. Innovation differs from invention in that innovation refers to the use of a better and, as a result, novel idea or method, whereas invention refers more directly to the creation of the idea or method itself."
I am not a worshipper of Steve Jobs and the cult of Apple but I don't think you could sum up what Apple did under his leadership more accurately than that.
Please, just STOP yourself from posting! PLEASE. In case you/the other deluded posters on this and many other forums are unaware Apple is a technology company who don't care about anything other than the bottom line on their balance sheet. Let me say that bit again in a different way for anyone who didn't get the subtle reference. THEY ARE ONLY INTERESTED IN YOUR MONEY GOING INTO THEIR BANK ACCOUNT!
All this talk about Innovation and Iconic Products and Steve Jobs being some kind of Messiah makes me look at the Human Race and shake my head. Here's a few questions to ask yourselves;
Have they come up with any cures for ANY diseases? Led the way in breakthrough technology that will enable hospitals/doctors and ultimately patients (i.e. US) to benefit? In fact, excluding the PC line which was successful PRIOR to the phone launch, can anyone name me one thing other than produce a designer (LG PRADA ANYONE) phone* that Apple have done to achieve this maniacal following!
*Interesting Factoid: Apple didn't invent the iPhone. A company called InfoGear did and released a touchscreen internet device called the iPhone in 1997, some 10 years BEFORE the Apple branded iPhone! So Apple/any iProduct follower taking the moral high ground on "innovate but don't copy" is a bit rich!
ALL Apple/Steve Jobs have done is take someone else's ideas (which existed LONG BEFORE any iProduct EVER hit the shelf), tarted it up a bit, thrown a bit of exploitative marketing into the mix and lucked out big-time as the gullible/impressionable idiots that (unfortunately) co-inhabit this planet with the rest of us fell for the Snake-Oil pedlars charms hook-line and sinker.
Rach
Edited to add, OH and PATENTED THE HELL OUT OF BASIC IDEAS!

I think it is a good idea to wait for a couple of days but I think it is extremely unlikely that Apple will release anything even remotely similar to a note. The new iphone will probably have a 4" screen so it is quite a lot smaller. I genuinely believe that android is better than IOS for phones anyway, whereas IOS is better for tablets because of more tablet specific apps. I couldn't live without my widgets now. I doubt I would spend £550 on a phone though.

There has been virtually no innovation since Steve Jobs died. That have just been sticking higher resolution screens in everything and changing the name. It will be interesting to see if the iphone 5 is anything other than a slightly bigger iphone 4/4S.

Did Samsung not just "innovate" beyond apple's mediocre design that was "inspired" by Braun products from the 1960's?
Slimmer than the iPhone.
Bigger than the iPhone.
Faster than the iPhone.
It's Android, not prison.
Slightly curved corners yeah, i'm sorry about that, sue me ;).
And here is the Braun LE1 Speaker vs today's Apple iMac.

Well, if Apple start making cars..and u decide to compete..u maybe better put 5 wheels on it...just to be sure u don't end up in a Californian court with a home jury :-)
I'm sticking with my original Galaxy Note ... I wasn't aware Apple made a phone that could compete with that anyway ? :p
You linked a site, not a photo.
Just face it, as a worthy competitor approached for 2012 (Samsung S2/S3). Apple is shaking and all it can do is throw out lawsuits now that Stevie is dead.
Honestly, Apple has had it's peak - now it's all downhill from here!
