Reading about the S3 on the BBC site & they said the world wide demand for the Note exceeded industry expectations - too right.
This form factor is going to stay me thinks.
Remember, the S3 is designed for Humans
hi, can I ask how you do that graph from amazon prices...would like to be able to track the s2 prices following the s3 release.

Can you not get a protective cover or a chain to your wrist ?
Interesting times ahead for sure!
at least one variant will feature an Exynos quad-core processor. The HD Super AMOLED Plus display did not appear though but it does have a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display that looks pretty good, with resolution of 1280 x 720.
There’s also an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus, flash, zero shutter lag and 1080p HD video capture along with a 1.9-megapixel front-facing shooter, 16/32GB of internal storage (expandable to 64GB via microSD), NFC support, a 2100mAh battery and the physical home button still appears although in a smaller form. It runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (to be fair it really had to or there would have been major disappointment) and there’s also a/b/g/n WiFi, WiFi HT40 and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity.
Cheers OP

I reckon built in pico projectors will be the next thing
Ah, okay, that's fair comment, as I have the note and certainly won't be changing to the S3.

I meant the price (_;)
That's been the case for a while really, at least on the hardware front. The big leaps forward were the HTC Magician in 2005 (the phone that Apple ripped off) - the first major smartphone where the touch was the entire interface. Then the idea of bigger screens, but that's not so much an idea, as just waiting for consumers to accept the idea of phones getting bigger again. This has been an obvious trend for maybe 3 years now.
The next improvement would be to have almost no bezel at all, and no buttons. Just a screen, nothing else. That way you can have a 4.5" screen on a relatively small phone.
