You do need to amend the Title and Price to 445 Euros / £363. Thats the minimum including delivery, let alone any currency conversions costs, which are another £13 again using Amazon

Not for me but my m8 was showing me his yesterday. He held it up and pointed it around and it tracked satellites in real time - quiet amazing. Plus, it has a phonecall add on too.

I have the note in white and it is absolutly fab,

The size is fine if your used to 4.7" + size smartphones, isn't too big for a 5.3" compare to the 5" streak which I had. I guess its the design of the note.

The whole experience with the note has been smooth and fast.

Screen is very eye catching and sharp. The best I seen so far on a tablet/smartphone. comparable to the new ipad. (I know the new ipad has higher res and all but if you look at both devices you will know what I meant, side by side)

I have a Dell Streak, and just missed out on a Note on eBay, not sure it's worth the extra $$$

it is worth it. I had the dell streak 5" and compare to this its different. Gnote is so much better experience in everyway.

If you ignore the fact the Note is pentile:

      New Ipad = 264 ppi
      Galaxy Note = 285 ppi

The Note should have a clearer screen than the new iPad :)

I think I'd rather pay the extra £40 and buy it from the UK. From what I've read there is a question mark against warranty. I believe you would also have to send the handset back to Germany. Anyone want to confirm this?

I know you like getting the latest model so what's holding you back on this? :p

You will need to buy a UK charger.

Checking out through Amazon currency converter its £376 in total delivered.

Amazon.de orders are also delivered by City Link, which is a worry!

I love this phone but im still not happy to buy it until i know the Andriod ICS update release date, which may still be months away. (2nd Quarter 2012 current samsung quote) though people were previously told 1st Quarter of 2012 and that never happended.

There is no warranty problem based on whether you get it from .de website, you still get the shetty samsung after sales service where you gotta way 8 days for a turnaround repair. But seeing as it's 130ish quid less now than companies that offer a classy after sales service I guess it's worth it for those less bothered.

Got the Note on an upgrade with Orange (free Note 400 mins £26/month for 18 months). I upgraded from an old HTC Touch Pro2 and I have to say the Note doesn't really seem too big. I find it completely brilliant and the screen is fantastic. I opted for the Note because I was doing to much browsing on my HTC.

For me, too small to use as a tablet and too big to use as a phone... that awkward size. :p

Although to be fair I have only tried it out in a shop, and I might get more used to it if I use it for a few weeks.
