Resisted purchasing one myself-just about.

Seen in the Merry Hill store.

I would rather spend a little more and get an ipod touch.

Not only does it look better the iPod touch has more (and arguably better) apps and games, its music app is much more refined, and it has the whole iTunes ecosystem at its disposal.

Cold :(

Okay. Please find us an iPod touch for 'a little more' that £50. Since this also has expandable memory make it at lease 32gig please. Then we'll all happily snap it up.

I have an iPod. I have an iPhone, I have an iPad. I love apple products. But I'm not so rediculously bias that I automatically disregard anything that isn't apple. You basically voted cold because a £50 android MP3 player isn't made by apple. Seriously? You need your head wobbled.

Also. iTunes ecosystem?? I tunes is THE worst thing about apple.

Hot from me op. gonna call and see if my local had any as a gift to my nephew.

Unlocked? It's not a phone, it's an mp3 player. There's no phone functionality, but you can use GPS and apps which utilise WiFi when you're in a hotspot.

I have one, I paid £90 for it and am very pleased with it. At £50 this is hotter than Dave's Insanity Sauce smeared on Kelly Brook in Death Valley.

Got you.... Would you not be better buying a little Samsung Galaxy Android handset for £40-£50 ?

If the stock music player is bad surely you can just download one of the many free ones from the Google Play store and use that?

To be honest I'm not sure how they compare. if the audio amplification is as good and the headphones a comparable quality then I guess you could have a point..

I wasn't in the market for a phone when I bought mine. I'm tied into a Blackberry contract and don't really get on with touch screen phones, so I had my reasons. Look at this as if it's an Android's answer to the iPod Touch and it looks like great value at £50.

Hot! Managed to reserve the last 1 in my local HMV. Picking it up first thing tomorrow morning. Thanks OP

Wimper.... went to a store in Westfield, White City, they had it on display but for £100. I didn't ask them to check it, as I assume they'd have the expensive price in Central London.. big shopping area.

Will try elsewhere!

I saw this in Tescos for a hell of a lot more. Thought it was a Galaxy S2 and remember chatting to the bloke about it. For £50 I'll have one for the kids its a decent "little tablet" for the money and it means I might get a go on mine.
