This deal has been posted before but it ended. It's back!

24 Months
Free Samsung Galaxy S
1000 Texts
300 Minutes
Unlimited Internet

I got this deal when it was first on and it's going great. Only gripe is the Galaxy's battery life is a little crappy but I am using it quite a lot!

We know there's a new one out before someone blatently mention's it. But for £18 a month, unlimited texts 300 mins and 1gb data and the phone still worth around 200, this is hot.
#2
For some people this deal is just right, not everyone can go and pay 25 quid minimum a month, the 7 quid difference can be quite a difference for others. Hot deal.
#3
Voted hot because I ordered this myself the other day! How long did they take to send yours?
#4
Is it just me, or the site ain't working properly?
#5
its still a good phone and for that price its hot

Well for me it took 2 weeks (collected from store). Which is fair enough considering that there were probably a truck load of people ordering the package.

Hmm yeah, it was fine when I posted the deal. Might be back soon. Weird.

Site doesn't work for me either, in FF or IE.

I hope I get some sort of communication from them soon, either to say they've dispatched it, or that there's a delay... I don't like not hearing anything :(

This really is still a good phone though- some websites I've seen have had people talking about it like it belongs in the history books with the Nokia 3310! It's comparable to the iphone 4- not to be sniffed at.

Nice comment mate...did you factor in the upfront phone cost? Did you think about this deal at all?

This is exactly the kind of comment I was referring to in my last post. This is still not a bad phone- most of us can't afford to keep up with the latest phone every couple of months. I'm very confident that (if/when it gets here) this phone will see me through my contract.

Up until now I've used various "old"/"rubbish" phones- at the moment I have a Samsung Genio QWERTY because it was all I could afford. Is that really so bad?
#17
Ive got one, using custom rom (darkysrom) I get nearly 3 days with my standard battery!
#18
Phone's don't magically become rubbish by being 7 months old. This is a good phone - there's better, but considering how much more you'd have to pay for a relatively small improvement, I like this deal better.

Consider you get a free phone and a contract that is actually a really good deal.

It really is- I'm on the Giffgaff £10 goodybag at the moment, but this is slightly more minutes, plenty of texts (for me) and the same unlimited internet. So for me it's technically £8/month for the phone.

Hot Deal - Thanks OP
#29
Have mine. Delivered in a couple of days. Was torn between this and the OSF. Unlimited data costs £10 a month pretty much anywhere, so this at £18 permonth plus the £55 from TCB means you get a top quality phone for around £150. At least, that was my reasoning. No flash on the camera is the only criticism I would have.

I haven't tried it with another sim card but I think it is unlocked too.

ive got the phone too...but how do u manage 3 days.i just abt manage 1.

Final overall price is pretty expensive. Think you can get one locked on orange PAYG for £250. Especially considering S2 coming out soon, I'll probably gamble on better offers coming out soon after.
#38
Does anyone know if the MIUI rom for this phone is fully working? Would make it a much better handset to get then. Also what would be the better phone to get, this or Desire S. Thanks

MIUI is somewhat unstable though and you would be loosing many features. Had two friends running it and they both went back to the Samsung ROMs. The SGS still has more features than the Desire S -- the processor is faster, better camera, better multimedia support, better screen, TV-Out. But worse build quality, and probably battery life too.

S2 has been out for over a week...best to try and get a S2 if you can, it runs rings around any other phone out there. Wouldnt be locked in for 24 months on an older gen phone...
