Seemed a pretty sweet deal to me, the tinterweb says android 2.3 is due to drop soon for the galaxy too.

Works out at £580 over 24 months and has a true cost of just about £24.16p/m

The fair usage on the data is 500mb and on the texts I think it was 4000

What's the REAL data allowance?

Seems pretty good to me... 24 months though and i dont think the memory is expandable. Desire HD is probably a better bet if the Tech is your thing.

The memory on my Galaxy S is expandable, but then mine's the now discontinued 16GB model.
#4
The memory is expandable it has an empty micro sd slot under the battery

Tesco= 500mb

Desire HD is probably a better bet if the Tech is your thing.

The galaxy is probably better in my opinion, almost looks like the iphone 4 too.

One of the better deals out there for the Galaxy S.

Why Cold? Any better deals please post.

Pretty sure my ladyfriend picked this up for 18 months £27 pm with no charge for the phone. It looks nothing like Iphone 4 either, looks more like the 3GS. Is a great phone though with a lovely screen but Desire is still better (I wish it had the AMOLED from this).

Great phone, fantastic screen - better than the desire IMHO. Much nicer to hold than the desire HD.

Not a good deal to be honest. 24 x 20 = £480, plus £100 for the phone = £580 overall. You can pick up the phone PAYG from o2 for around £300, then use giffgaff payg, so not tied into a contract. £10 goodybag will give you truly unlimited internet, unlimite texts and 250 minutes xnetwork. Admittedly the minutes allowance isn't as good, but it's PAYG rather than contract. Alternatively, you can probably get a deal out of T-Mobile for £10 a month for the same sort of minutes plus a 3gb FUP data allowance.

Two year contracts should burn in hell.

I'd like to know, where 500mb is unlimited?

Screen is good but went for Desire HD as Samsung feels cheap and plasticky , Desire build seem much better and as it has to last a 24 month contract went for that .
