Surely this is beyond super hot? Unreal deal!

The £25 a month deal only works out £5 more while the £30 deal works out just £5 more than that one! So for the extra £10 over the 12 months and a lower upfront cost the £30 a month deal is hotter IMO. :D

totally agree with the comment above.. for an extra tenner over 12 months you get 400 mins.. hot hot hot...

Just been looking at this online... Desperate for this deal over 18 months with no phone cost though as id rather not spend the initial cost...

Rather good deal though! So tempted >.<

Will this be unlocked?
#5
What network does talk mobile use?
#6
Talk mobile uses the Vodafone network. However, I just called their sales department and they said they have a FUP of 1 Gig although the deal states there's none. I also emailed them and will call e2save as I hate when people lie to me about restrictions.

Why can't they just say 1GB instead of talking BS.

EDIT: Just to reconfirm. The "unlimited" bit (this is sooo stupid) has now been changed back to 1GB (max for Vodafone, I think.). I called their [e2save's] sales team just now and
they reconfirmed this for me. I may not be taking out this contract after all.

It's an awesome phone!

I think uses vodafone.

My quidco tracked (on £30 month tariff) and it's estimated tracking was £55.

Great deal, could always just sell the phone and have a free 12 month contract, heat added

1gb should be enough?
i was going to get this until i realised you could only keep your old number if you had you pac code right now and couldn't do it at later date, stupid.

The only place you are going to get truly unlimited is 3 - and on a 24 month contract.

Surely 1GB is PLENTY for general browsing and the odd download - combined with home wifi?

Fantastic buddy - I've got my PAC from O2 (CPW) and moving to these guys now!

I haven't used such a phone before but I am a power user and I do use the web A LOT. If I am going to pay for unlimited, I expect to get at least 5GB not a measly 1GB. And your claim as to unlimited is also untrue. You can get the one plan for £15 PAYG on 3 without a contract as well as for £10 on giffgaff (80GB, note the 80 in there, limit). So there are options for the ones looking to get it. Sorry but advertising as unlimited does not sit well with me especially considering the fact they haven't bothered to update their website.
#14
Talk Mobile are on Vodafone network, but do these phones come locked/unlocked, with/without network bloatware?
#15
Talk mobile say it IS unlimited, but subject to fair use and no mention is made of 1Gb allowance
Check the talk mobile terms and conditions and their fair use policy

"Unlimited Internet (included in tariff allowance)

* Some Pay Monthly contracts include "Unlimited" data access as part of the tariff allowance.
* There is no limit on mobile internet usage on contracts which include "Unlimited" data access. However if we feel that your data usage is so excessive that other customers are detrimentally affected and/or we are concerned about fraud, we may introduce a fair use policy. If we publish a policy we will let you know. Any such policy may change from time to time, including where we introduce new Services which may require certain rules to ensure such new Services can be enjoyed by our customers. If, once we have implemented such a policy, your use of the Service is excessive, is causing problems for other users and you continue to use the Service excessively we may suspend all or some of the Services."

I mean the one plan with the Samsung Galaxy phone - which is 24months and hell of a lot more overall! My N900 can chew through 1G quite easily, but even so 1GB is enough, if I just browse the web (full desktop websites not the mobile crap) and the odd download it's plenty and little bit of youtube.

Anyhoo no-one other than 3 does 5GB+ anyway, we don't have much choice because the rest of them only do 500mb or 1GB. I think this is a wicked deal - 400mins 1000txts and 1GB internet for £470 (minus £46) - which is about the same price as you'd pay for this phone on PAYG and ebay!

good deal

@mrew42

I called both Talk Mobile and E2save and got the same answer. The websites are not up to date so if you want to jump into a contract without being perfectly clear on the terms you are welcome. But it's a case of them delaying updating the website and not their policy. I had it confirmed today on 2 occasions.

@rash
You don't seem to be reading but I am not going to bother anymore. The phone's price is going to come down in a month or two and then I can get the Three or GiffGaff package for the same price of this contract. The phone is not in stock anyway so why order when you won't get the phone on time.
#19
Looks like they have upped the Handset cost now to £259, for £20 per month, £209 for £25 per month and £154 for £30 per month. Its not as good a deal as it was.
#20
Damn! I hate when they do this! Oh well, will just wait for another deal to come around.

Fair do's. The website is wrong and there's obviously no substitute for talking to someone.
Kudos :)

Still a good deal if you get quidco!
12 x 30 + 155 - 46 = £469

Massively good deal.
Hope it's till around in a few months when my contract is up for renewal :)

I'm saying despite the increase it's still a decent deal - considering you get minutes, texts and internet.

Sell the phone for £450ish and the minutes/texts are almost free. Like I'm gonna do - waiting for the Nokia N9!

Anyones order changed from Ordered? Mine still just says ordered, hasn't changed since yesterday.
#29
spoke to e2save today and they are in stock but have a software bug, they are being held until samsung fixes it. anyone else heard this? or know anything more about the bug :s
#30
When do they expect this to be resolved....its not an open ended date??? I would have thought its the same software as for O2 phones?
#31
Anymore news on this yet?
#32
Mines been shipped today
#33
Good news...mine has also shipped today!!! :) Apparently it was only stock issue and not bug issue as claimed by e2save just to buy them some time!
