First post - this appears to be a pretty good deal. Cheaper than SIM free deals. It is with O2 but unlocking seems pretty easy on these. Just ordered one so lets see what happens!

Also £50 quidco cash back just tracked!

It's o2 100 plan.
100 mins
500 texts
Not sure about data?!

There's no data on this one, that's why I didn't post it here. Though I did post a link in the most commented deal on SGS2. Anyways, It doesnt really have any minutes/texts/data so it's a worthless contract, meaning you'd be better off with just taking it from o2 directly.

can i ask how you got this deal as it doesnt appear on the main site when you search?

So IOS is much better than Android - is that why, on the deal I posted for the Desire S, after slating that phone as well, you then came back on almost 'begging' someone to sell one to you - don't see the logic.

Please dont buy this phone as I seen on many review the first lot of these phone has come faulty wifi module and problem with camera module, if you hold the phone in landscape posiion it will loose the 80% percent connection and stop the download completely furthermore the first lot of these handset have problem with poor Camera quality and jerky 720p hd recording,

I am decided to buy the phoe But just to confirm the gsmarena review I personally visit the Bestbuy's shop today and I played with 30 min. with the phone and I fond following

(1) I hold top back side of the phone and my wifi got lost to almost 75%
(2) Camera result is blurry
(3) 720 cording is jerky and missed lots of frame

this is to confirm that the recent lot ATM which been sold are most faulty

Thanks

Gadget Guru

And now...

After buying anybody think to sell this phone please let me know I will buy it same price, I can collect personally from London so no silly selling headache or worry or waste money on huge Ebay fee,

the so-called "best phone is the world"

- has no NFC
- only 16Gb
- lack of HDMI port
I wouldn't touch it with a bargepole

do you really need to post this in every galaxy s2 thread? ZZZzzzzzz

Foxxes - click on the get deal button - the hyperlink is buried in there.

Am I right in thinking that it has a microsd slot that can take 32gb?
No idea what NFC is so probably dont need it :)
And doesn't the microsd double up as the hdmi?

The "best phone in the world" is subjective - iphones are great phones - but they are two restrictive for my needs. The windows os would fit my needs perfectly and has done with the htc hd2 I have had for nearly 2 years. But it is getting tired and I need a new phone - windows 7 looks like pants so android it is and this 'looks' like the best phone with android (at the moment)

Thanks OP, ordered one after missing out on the desire s deal by a couple of hours and the mobiles.co.uk sgs2 deal. I think this deal would have got a lot hotter if it hadn't been for them 2 deals creating a lot of bitterness on this site. I hold no grudges against dial-a-phone, they at least sent out some of the orders they received.

Looking foward to playing with this phone my hero is starting to get very dated :D

Hi, I just ordered using the go to link above. Nowhere in the process I didn't get any acknowledgement about the quidco cashback! Note that I'm new to quidco and cashback thing. Can anyone please tell me what should I do now to get the quidco cashback? Thanks in advance!

To be honest, I enjoy playing around with phones and try to keep up with the latest tech but I would not consider NFC to be an essential feature now. Most people are saying that it wont be mainstream for a while yet and we will be on the next generation of phones by then at least.

The iPhone versus The World debate is always going to rage on because it is one of the best phones. Some of it is interesting. Some is pretty childish.

I have a Galaxy S2 - amazing phone out of the box. It will only get better too.

@guv not all iphone users are fanboys. All the fanboys are similar in nature- hate each other! Whether they're iphone-fanboys, android-fanboys, blackberry-fanboys or even winmo-fanboys!!!! I'm a iphone user but not fanboy. What I care about a phone is the performance, features & specs and visual experience. People say iphone is very easy to use, absolutely true but that comes with a huge price as well. The camera of the iphone is the great example- very easy to use, even a baby can use it but it lacks features that a decades old phone had!

I take it 'horacevankhute' was suspended for being a complete troll?

I dont mind having little digs now and then, to start debates... but yeh, this guy is extreme. So extreme he needs to post twice within minutes to try and get his points across incase someone missed it.

Great deal though.

Does owning an iPhone come with a warning it turns you into a complete retard?

Or is that a feature?

Agreed but I use it as a form of interest free payment on a new phone and put my own sim in the phone. (The wife uses the phone bought on that contract with a work SIM, BTW this is an iphone)

Iphones IMO are ideal for tech novices who want a phone that just works. The android phones are catching up in this arena but they are more for the techy types like me.

O2 wanted me to pay £200 (as well as the £100) up front, and they would refund me in 3 months....

i was tempted to vote cold just for that but it wouldn't be fair :)

I know loads of non techy people who love their android phones, your comment doesn't reflect the reality of phone sales.
