  Do you mean the old HTC bricks like the evo 3D or the new one series with the flaky ceramic and non-removable batteries and microSD? This phone is very tough. If I had dropped an iPhone as many times as I had dropped my GS2 I would have gone through several iPhones. Thick and heavy is not the same thing as "solidly built".
