There is still like new remaining, but not sold by amazons warehouse deal!

The goto link only shows the first 5 sorted by price. Click the "FREE Super Saver Delivery offers only" button to see all the ones available from Amazon Warehouse. I guess that's why people think it's out of stock.

mine wasn't saying anything like damaged box or the repackaged. Description was something like covered under 30 days amazon return thing only.

Seems like only 1 was available under that description, as soon as I ordered its gone.

In Feb and April 12, i ordered two 'as new' refurbed S2's from Amazon warehouse. My son's was in the original box (obviously used) but the phone was A1 mint. So impressed, i ordered one for myself. My S2 arrived in a plain box but was again in A1 mint condition.

Both came running honeycomb. Mine would not update to ics at first because KIES kept saying it did not recognise the particular ROM version. Did a bit of googling on the forums, side loaded the stock UK honeycomb rom and it's happily automatically updated itself ever since. Not difficult really.

I used this link to input the serials CLICK HERE Hope it's still working but input the serial number and it supplies the Samsung warranty expiry date. I managed to register both phones with Samsung on the official support website. Otherwise, absolutely no problems with the phones. I guess the S2 prices are continuing to hold up because it is such a good device. Some designs are just 'right' and the S2 is one of them.

Good question....I still haven't received mine, it seems that it has gone to Edinburgh RM sorting office even though I am based in the South East oO

Hopefully mine will be in mint as yours, fingers X

Out of curiousity i telephoned Samsung customer service today to check the warranty conditions on refurbs. If you need a repair outside the Amazon warranty, then this is what they told me.

1) Register the your phone with them asap (either on-line or by telephone).
2) If you think you need a repair then phone them to discuss. Arrange to either post or carry in to repair depot.
3) If the phone's serial is on their database then getting a repair under warranty should not be a problem.
4) TWO EXCEPTIONS a) they discover signs of an unauthorised previous repair by a third party, and b) the phone is originally from a non-uk source - i guess that will become apparent when you try and register it.

hope that helps.

I don't know yet. I thought it would be in the original box and its been used as the stickers have been removed and put back on. there's no USB cable or SD card.
u can get a brand new one frm o2 on pay and go for £299 so I dnt know whether to send it back and buy frm o2?

If like new has been bought from Amazon or Amazon warehouse then, you can return it to them saying, its not working properly (if you are not happy with it) although you have switched it on. Amazon will give you full refund without asking you a question.

I wouldn't buy like new phone from any other seller except AMAZON or AMAZON WAREHOUSE. As you are not covered with any warranty with other suppliers.

Not sure about the overall condition of your handset, but an USB cable + 16Gb microsd should not cost you over £15. I believe if the microsd was included it would be a 2Gb version anyway.

Although O2 is selling for £299 on PAYG (have not confirmed this info) it would come branded I believe. If you are going to root it straightway than this does not apply.

what kind of branding would it have? and do u mean u can get rid of it by rooting AND installing a custom rom on it or can u do it without installing a custom rom?
thanks.

I believe it would come with O2 bloatware, i.e., splash animation, apps, etc as any other carrier....

You can definitely get rid of it by rooting it. Make sure you can also get a stock rom to re-flash it in case you need to send it to Samsung for repairs, etc

Received mine today. I ordered Used-Like New, Packaging may have minor damage. Item is in excellent condition. All purchases eligible for Amazon customer service and a 30-day return policy.
However it came with charger and USB cable (no earphones or manual) on white box --> not a big deal. Some light scratches near the mini-usb port, which I believe a case can sort out.....
As the handset is for the OH, she will have to decide to either keep this or me to order O2 PAYG @ £299, with potential £5.50 from Quidco

Hi mate
1) did you have to contact them to return or just used "Returns are easy" link - http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/css/returns/homepage.html/ref=hy_f_4 ????
2) How did you get the postage costs refunded?

I will return mine as it was doing the battery loop and now complaining about voltage...Someone might have played with it....

I will get one from O2 @ £299
