  Thanks. Ordered one on behalf of my son. He can continue to use his existing sim only deal, pay me £23pm for 12 months and then he's home free. None of this 24 month contract nonsense. Anyone got any more news about whether samsung will honour the original warranty?

  Received mine today, was basically brand new, the actual box was replaced by a generic white box but everything was still packaged and sealed.

  I would be interested to know what warranty does Samsung offer as they usually have 24 months on their phones. Not bothered with Amazon warranty unless the phone has visible damage though !
  I purchased one for £279 just now - fingers crossed. If Samsung deny the warranty I would return the order. The S3 will be out soon but will be expensive.

  Condition is mint, no scratches or marks whatsoever and no signs of usage. It came in a generic white box with accessories.

  A little bit surreal though... Although accounts have been disabled the previous owners photos are still on the phone! Seems that it belonged to a student somewhere. I would have thought that they, or Amazon, would have taken these off before re-selling!

  I would disinfect it thoroughly if I were you.
  Students can be very unhygienic and tend to fap alot as well.

  Right, as with this whole S3 debacle.
  
  Originally, the s3 was to be announced next week at the huge tech show. This won't happen now. (Most likely due to the S2 only going on sale in the US relatively recently and they don't want to undercut their own sales)
  
  Next big release date could potentially be in May but even then it won't be on sale for well over a month while bugs are worked out and the networks add their bloatware. So July is a more realistic time for when you can spend (at least) £35 on a 24 month contract for it.
  
  If you're looking at this price range but decide to wait for the S3, you will be waiting well past this time next year.

  Mine is being delivered by HDNL Yodel. I say delivered in the loosest sense of the term as HDNL Yodel don't really seem to specialist in delivery yet that's the only thing they do. I have Amazon Prime and the package was supposed to come yesterday, I phoned HDNL as it was getting late and they say well we deliver from 07:00-19:00, I said fine but I ordered from Amazon so I don't know that do I. The package was being delivered to my place of work, the courier apparently found the place and said I wasn't there even though I work in a shop on the high street which you can't miss. I said ok phone the courier or give me his number, they can't do that, they also can't get the delivery to be anything other than 07:00-19:00, and because I phoned them again for a third time after 17:30 they can't now deliver for today (Thursdy) and it has to be 07:00-19:00 tomorrow, I work from 09:00-17:00. HDNL have staff which sound nice enough and helpful on the phone but they can't actually help you. This courier is a joke and I will be complaining to Amazon about them.
  
  I have to get the package delivered to my work address within my working hours, something that all other couriers can do fine, and yet HDNL Yodel fail miserably to achieve, no one they changed their name. British Leyland, Tech Guys, HDNL all have changed their name because they are useless at what they do.

  I received mine today. Used very good S2 turned out to be an S.
  Have now ordered an Like New one. Hopefully I'll get the correct phone this time.

  Received mine today through Royal Mail Tracked Delivery. Ordered a Like new one, could clearly find the phone was used, but no marks whatsoever. Came with original samsung galaxy sII packing, phone covered in a air tight envelope, charger, battery and usb connector, but no earphone. The phone looked great no scratches, has dust in all corners between the glass top and the sides couldn't take them out. overall happy with the product. Thanks :)

  Finally got mine today in non original plain white cardboard box, with manual, headphones with separate ear buds, usb cable and charger. The phone was manky with what looks like the remnants of glue from a sticker on the back. I've tested the phone and it appears to all work ok.
