Samsung Galaxy S III i9300 @ smartfonestore from £274.00 (refurbished)

becknisebecknise

The phone has finally dropped below £300. Grade C is now £274, grade B is £284 and grade A is £294. Tempting.

Personally I wouldn't spend £300 on a grade C phone. I know ebay is different from a retailer, but you're still covered and on there you can get mint boxed S3's for less than £300

I'd only bother with grade A.

Always the risk of an eBay seller deciding to report a phone lost/stolen then you've got a nice £300 paperweight.

WHAT? MInt boxed S3 for less than £300 on ebay? The only S3s at that price on eBay are "for parts or not working" or blocked phones.

Really not that hard to find ;)

Look under completed listings, with price set between £250 - £300 and 'Used' selected. You'll see dozens of them have sold for under £300 and the vast majority are boxed and mint. "Grade C" means trashed phone.

Keep checking the site, they come in stock fairly regularly.

Spacehduk - your def of Grade C is way out. Check the smartfonestore website please!! They are a reputable company so the idea that they sell "trashed" phones is ridiculous.

I've seen eBay sellers whose A+ is more loosely defined than C here.

Every time ive looked they never have grade A in stock.

Just to add. I bought a grade B iPad 2 from them last week and it arrived BRAND NEW, without box though.

And with the A Grade only £319, the best approach for anyone who wants one is to keep checking the site daily to see if there is any stock.

Their stock is fairly changeable from what I've seen.

Wow, this is going to get hot. £300 is an absolute stonker of a deal for a phone as good as this one with some very minor imperfections on it. Great deal. HAWTER THAN A MO FO!

      I'm selling a Galaxy S 3 in great condition for £340........ never mind Grade C @ 300

I got a grade b from these guys last week and it was almost perfect.. For someone like me that's going to drop it in a week anyway its a great deal, not everyone cares end enough to change screen protectors once a month and keeps their thin phone in a fat leather case.

Why are there so many S3 refurb deals? Are they that poorly made in the 1st place?
      Whitedot
More likely that they are free contract upgrades that people trade in for cash. This site's sister is one such place, so I would assume all they do is clean them up, grade them and resell for profit.

For the same reason that you see a lot of iphone refurbs - they're both best selling phones.

Bought a blue Grade A unlocked S3 from here four weeks ago for £369. Delivered super fast and arrived in A1 mint condition (not in original box though). Very happy with it. Great phone and service but l wish i'd held out for a few more weeks and saved myself £40. At these sort of prices, this phone is a fantastic bargain if you can afford the money up front. Registered mine on the Samsung uk support website and fingers crossed that their two year warranty from date of purchase is honoured. I've phoned customer service (twice now) and explained where i'd bought it from etc and the cs reps said it will not be a problem.

Jelly Bean update due in the next few weeks i believe. Happy days.
