If this helps - officially all Samsung direct sales partners will have the handset in stock to be delivered by the 27th of April (this is Samsung not Apple -lol) As 90%+ of the phone is Samsung parts they haven't messed about.

Should be available next week

This is the exact deal, went up to 100 degres and is now almost minus 200. This is now being voted hot again. WTF?

I went for it myself though. Great deal. Effectively half price for the handset after Quidco if you're already paying similar amounts a month, which I am.

People might say that two year contracts will work out better, but not really. Yes, you're paying £500 in one year, but get one of those sim free deals through quidco or something and you might only end up paying £20 or something the year after that. Works out pretty well!

They are known for giving sim free handsets. I presume that they buy the handsets themselves straight from the manufacturers and sell the mobile operator's service alongside it, taking their subsidy and putting it towards the sim-free phone. Might be wrong.

Hmm, because of it were unlocked, I'd take this deal in a jiffy. Otherwise after the 12 months, we will be stuck with Talk Mobile only plans, right? Or am I confusing myself?

Firstly let me applaud you for giving the 'TOTAL' cost of this deal. Contract phones are so often posted here with the monthly cost given as the price. I also see you have included the cost of initial deposit but it might also be worth you mentioning the actual contract cost ie £25 a month.

Hot from me just for including the total cost of the deal. Thank you.

There are 3 deals, one for 20, 25 and 30 a month for 12 months with different costs to the handset depending on which montly plan you take. His description states the 20 quid plan whilst the link goes to the 25 quid plan.

The phone should be unlocked. If it isn't, it is an android phone, so should be easily unlockable anyway.

It will be unlocked, for 2 reasons:

1: It's from carphone group (along with e2save)
2: TalkMobile have never had a network locked handset.

Doesnt help that its a 3 year old phone lol.

Anything that old will feel completely outdated by even last years iphone 4.

Has anyone else had any problem with ordering this phone? I get to the process order button and when I hit it, the page just refreshes but there is no confirmation...

You may like to point out the UNLIMTED IS NOT UNLIMTED THE FAIR USAGE POLICY DOES NOT ALLOW FOR LAPTOP tethering. You may also like to know that Talktalk there sister company has been voted worst for phone and broadband complains http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/news/phones/2011/04/talk-talk-worst-for-phone-and-broadband-complaints so you have been warned.

What is the point in this comment? Talkmobile have nothing to do with talktalk. Where did you get the info that they are sister companies?

March 2010 TalkTalk demerged from The Carphone Warehouse Group,
Talk mobile are part of CPW group, not Talktalk.

I don't want to scare anyone - but when i just logged into my account to check my order my tariff (i went for the £25 a month 300 mins package) says that I get 50mins a month!!!! I'm sure its just an admin error but i've emailed them to check - i'll report back when they reply with clarification - has anyone else had that with their order? (also i don't know if this was simply because I submitted said question but I also received an email around the same time (albeit before the confirmation
that they had received my query) to say they apologise for the delay in procesing my order and that it will be processed and completed within 48hours so that there are no more delays in getting the phone to me. Its not clear if that means they may be sending them out or whether they just take the payment etc but I guess my wishful thinking is hoping that they mean the former (although probably not)

£549.99? If you go for this you have to ask yourself some really searching questions deep down, or just be too rich to care.
