The deal is ok, but you should never include quidco in the final price, I'm not voting hot for this, please edit.

Sorry guys first Post

Not bad, but still not cheap as o2, 18 month tariff.

Really depends on what you need, a tariff with minutes, SMS, and data or the phone its self.

Seems like a good deal. I wanted a lower cost per month contract cause I'm moving to uni and will be short of cash and have plenty of other bills to pay... I took early upgrde from o2, £27/m, 300min, unlimited texts, and 500mb web, + 200 free mins a month for staying with o2. Was £50 for the phone. Love the phone, but admittedly this is a better deal really.

Sent from my SGS2 :)

Also, at the end of the day, I was still in a contract with o2 and needed a new phone, but this time I couldn't buy it up front like I normally would... I was already paying 21/m for a sim free contract so I figure the phone is only costing me about £200! :)

Whats the O2 deal?

What is the O2 deal,? i much rather be with O2 and get their home broadband too.

The o2 deal is a little cheeper, but the minutes, texts and data is lower: -

18 Months: 50 minutes, 250 SMS's, 100MB/month Data
Handset: £149
Line rental: £18.50
Total: 149 + (18.5 x 18) = £483 (plus £50 quidco)
Possible £433

24 month: 50 minutes, 250 SMS's, 100MB/month Data
Handset: £149.00
Line rental: £13.50
Total: 149 + (13.5 x 24) = £473 (plus £50 quidco)
Possible £423

decent for the handset but 50 mins, 250 txts and 100mb a month is way too low i think
#11
Looks like u can only get quidco on the 24 month contract?
#12
Quidco does state 18 and 24 months: -

£50 for 18/24 month PAYM contracts (excl. iPhone)

I have had a look on the dialaphone website and they are no longer offer a 12 month deal on vodaphone. I think the poster has saved a link and posted that on here so when you click the link on this page you can see the deal but in reality its not there.
This should be expired.

But you can still checkout with the OPs link... so it is still there!

I have just bought this deal, used topcashback, tracked 45quid in about 1hr after checkout, but it does say on topcashback that it will go up to 60.60pds

I think its a decent deal, thanks to the OP

Never bought from dialaphone though, hope its gone through, got confirmation email but I have heard of them cancelling purchases even after sending out confirmation emails, keeping my fingers crossed :D

Seriously tempted by the offers at dialaphone for the s2 but unsure of them because I've never used them before. Tried looking for the answer but can't seem to find it, but if I take a contract with vodafone/o2 through dialaphone, who actually bills me and who do you contact - dialaphone or the network?
#17
I want to buy also but it says you will be unable to port your current number to vodafone?!? Why?

Found out myself. It simply means you cant port the number in the checkout process. You can port it afterwards on vodafones website.

aa88, Im no expert but I believe you still call o2 for network issues etc, and they do billing. You only deal with dialaphone for phone problems.

Kentsweden, If you select go to merchant in topcashback or with quidco you are directed to dialaphone.com but with tracking cookies. If in the dialaphone window you simply paste the address:

http://www.dialaphone.co.uk/aw2/phone/Samsung_Galaxy_S_II/Phones_Samsung_P9/search.aspx?product=Samsung_Galaxy_S_II&intcid=Phones_Samsung_P9

then it SHOULD still track ok. It did for me.

Excellent Deal! Bought, Phone arrived this morning. Very Happy!

This is the best deal for the phone available in my opinion. Only 12 months contract too!

think this has expired now, as I just tried to show a friend via the link and it no longer takes you to the deal.
