Samsung Galaxy S2 on O2 for £18.13 per Month from Affordable Mobiles
Just bagged myself a FREE Samsung Galaxy S2 with 300 minutes and unlimited texts for £18.13 per month at Affordable Mobiles. I've also purchased this through a Quidco link which gave me another £40 cash back. I've also noticed you can get £40 cash back with Top Cash Back for those of you who are members of that site. If like me, you don't need the 100mb of data that comes as a bolt on at £3 per month then you can take this off which effectively makes your line rental £15.13. The reduced line rental is by redemption but I've had experience with Affordable Mobiles before and never had a problem with them.

Surely they got to start dropping the price on these soon. You can only find deals where there are not enough minutes etc, shame.

cold from me...
Agree with you. Shame that 24 months seems to be the norm for most smart phone contracts these days. Probably be tempted to pay a bit more for a 12 month contract & grab whatever new bit of tech replaces it next year
Still stuck with 2 years tho.
when looked at monthly maybe but the TCO is the same as the £36x12 deals and is actually more expensive if you add your suggested data bundle.
Also factor in that on a 12mth contract you can upgrade sooner and sell you old handset one making the 12mth better value still....

Yeah, that's an interesting point these days with the resale value of the high end phones being so good. If you go no higher than £36 over 12 months and get a trade in/resale after 12 months of £130 it's only cost £25 over the 12 months and you get a newer phone every 12 months.
and btw, i have 1gb data, and i rarely use 100mb, i use wifi when home, and dont really see the need when out, maybe just check the odd price in shops, anything i download like games or apps are when i have free time at home.

I can only pass on my own experience of using Affordable Mobiles and I must say, I've used them twice over the last 24 months and not had a problem with any aspect of their service.

Have you actually used their customer service to try and resolve any issues? I imagine the phone and payments etc are all fine but if you have any problems surely they can't provide the level of service that a larger company would?

To be fair, no I haven’t but that's only because they delivered my two previous orders in a timely manner and I had no problems with their line rental redemption. I really don’t understand your point on how the size of a company can be an indication of the level of customer service you will receive. BIG doesn’t automatically mean BEST which I'm sure most of us would agree.
